  1. RIP. South Philly guy. Big mural of him there and in Wildwood.
  2. The Cramps - Mule Skinner Blues. Jimmie Rodgers cover.
  3. Swervedriver - Mezcal Head.
  4. Beautiful work! Always liked those clear steering wheels.
  5. Straitjacket Fits - Melt
  6. RIP. She was really funny. Remember Donna Chang "You're not Chinese" ?
  7. You have to snip off the eye portion of the needle. I started to do this on my 1/18 diecasts. Much harder to drill into that stuff without breaking those tiny bits. If you are looking for flexible, were back to the guitar string. Have you seen the antennas that come with some kits. They look like chromed tie rods in 1/25 scale.
  8. The Style Council - Confessions of a Pop Group. Whole album is great but this masterpiece particularly helped get me through a bad breakup.
  9. Jesus and Mary Chain - Surfin' USA I think they took some liberties with the lyrics. ?
  10. Exploding White Mice - Nest of Vipers ep
  11. Joseph males alot of really nice off road tires and resin wheels. I have an order coming to me right now. Be patient though he emailed me that hes been pretty busy with all the doctors appiontments and backorders.
  12. Still got my old '09 Ranger sport don't believe I have any pics of it . Just turned the 100,000 mile mark not too long ago. It's soon time for a new one but I vowed to drive the wheels off it.
  13. That reminds me. Garage sale season is coming soon.
  14. I've seen plenty of people make their own '71 Chevelle with the '70 front clip. Even more '69 Chevelles with incorrect '70-72 stereo stripes. Many people put SS stripes on Fords and Mopars.? I always think its a good thing when they mimic the early 60s Ferrari GTO (240 Z).
  15. I really wish I would have taken pictures of these but one was from parts I had in a big bin and some kits. I took a 70s ford econoline van and made it into a pulling vehicle. I put a 4x4 drivetrain under it and a huge V8 with the open pipes coming strait up out of the exhaust manifolds through holes that I drilled into the windshield. I also added duel wheels all the way around (the tires were those old Gates off road tires like the Firestones that you see with the ford truck kit) and painted it red and white. I was pretty bizarre looking. The other was an AFX (1/64) chassis with a blow drier motor that my sister threw away after the heating element wouldn't work any more. I wired it to the copper pickup elements and held it on with Scotch tape because electric tape was too thick. The whole thing resulted in an air powered AFX slot car that was really top heavy. You really had to finesse it around the corners and I had to make a special oval track with no overpasses to run it on but everybody seemed to get a kick out of it.
  16. Chameleons - Tomorrow Never Knows . Beatles cover.
  17. Pixies - Head On. Jesus and Mary Chain cover.
  18. Style Council - Confessions of a Pop Group.
  19. Keep checking Craigslist. I got 2 on there over the years. Sometimes the people just wand to get rid of them so if your lucky, you can get one for cheap. Downside is you gotta go pick it up. I think those days are over for me. Starting to get up there.
  20. Thin White Rope - Some Velvet Morning. Lee Hazlewood Cover with Nancy Sinatra.
  21. The First Six Cocteau Twins albums. They are not for everybody but give them a chance and they may change your life too. Made me realize there is music outside of the Rock N Roll box.
  22. Courtney Love (the band with Lois Maffeo) - Motorcycle Boy. Not to be confused with the person Courtney Love.
