    I'm surprised anybody still does that stuff anymore now that all the dealers put that fentanyl in everything now. The police have to wear a spacesuit to handle it now. Guys like this do the prescription drugs now that they have money.

    Yes, that was on unplugged. I can remember the Bowie when we were all watching it back when it came out. I picked up on it right away and blurted out "The Man Who Sold the World. That's that Bowie song". I guess they were so used to Let's Dance and Modern Love that they forgot when Bowie actually used to be good.

    I was aware that one was a replica. I just figured that other black one was also since the studios like to get as much use from their cars as possible. How many times have you seen that orbit orange '70 GTO from 2 Lane Blacktop in other moves and TV shows?

    This is the enamel I used. I'm relatively sure I used some kind of primer but I can't be certain which. I just got this stuff off the shelf at Home Depot. I'm soaking all the parts cover (to keep evaporation at bay) at room temperature. Maybe I'll move them on top of the heater and see if that helps.

    Is there a limit on how long the paint has been curing? My Galaxie body and parts have been soaking for a good week now and now only seems to have darker splotches all over it. It was painted with enamel and probably has been curing for a few years now. I'm getting ready to try the brake fluid route next. Which one am I supposed to use now DOT 3? Did They change the formula for the Super Clean or something?

    I don't like to buy stuff off of ebay if I don't have to but sometimes it's the only game in town. Got a Ford Firestone cab (messed one up) and 3 frames with running gear from the big game GMC. A seller was selling parts. I was going to get them all from HL but they ran out of both kits.
