  1. Guess it's time to start a thread on this one. Went old school on the chevy orange for the engine. Also,on the bed, I'm not sure what those weird scribe lines are supposed to be but they are no picnic to try to eliminate. Some filler followed by sanding and sanding.........
  2. I've seen plenty of that kind of stuff in the section of the craft stores that sells doll house stuff. Miniature cans, bottles, etc. But if you go to the resin 3d printed truck and car section on this boars there are lots of links.
  3. This band is somewhat known especially in Australia. The Go Betweens. I've been listening to them since the mid 80s but just broke out the Tallulah album (on youtube) again great stuff.
  4. I already have 2 sets just in case. Also, there is at least one 3D printer on this board that makes some pretty nice drag sets for 1/16 so I'm not panicking yet.
  5. Here's the outside diameter.
  6. If that happens the 4x4 Nomad project is born. ?
  7. Oh wait! You need the outside diameter?
  8. Around 20mm. The 8 spoke wagon wheels from the 1/20 Ford van kit fit them perfectly . Same as the larger Formula Desert Dogs. I don't know if I can part with them. I've been waiting for a 1/18 diecast truck to come out that I would like to use them on. I think I might have seen some on ebay that sellers have cast in resin.
  9. Thanks! I'm obsessed with the vintage Torq Thrusts. Thinking of a gasser look. The leaf spring axel is from a 1/18 '55 3100. Lets see if it will fit. At first I was considering 4x4 with those giant tires but I couldn't find a cheap 1/18 truck on ebay and in no way do I have the skills to scratch build something like that. Gasser it is.
  10. Opps. I thought he was asking about the Mudders.
  11. Great color scheme. Love the muddy tires.
  12. Here I go again starting 10 projects at once. I finally found that other header and I'm amassing parts for this project wile I'm still waiting for the kit to arrive.
  13. Not crazy about the wheels but the tires are really nice. I used a set on my 1/18 '55 3100.
  14. Hers a better picture of the Boggers.
  15. Search For "Gumbo Monster Mudders" I found these pics. Some of these were way over the top big. I can remember they had an awful lot of sidewall.
  16. I'm pretty sure they stopped making them long ago. There was a time when them and Ground Hawgs were the only options out there for really oversized tires. I remember the Dick Cepek catalog. You could could get all those off road goodies in that one. My dad used to be like " If you had to pay for just one of those tires, you would never talk about them again ". Eventually, he was right as always. ? I'm pretty sure they got replaced by the Boggers and such simply because of superior design and chemical technology .
  17. Hey! Thats the same truck I drive every day. 2009 Sport. Who makes that one?
  18. Great choice on the color. ?
  19. Oh! The Boggers are from so real. I'll have to get a better picture.
