Nice! I have those same tires waiting to go on this model when it's finally re-released. I'd like to do a similar thing with a '73 grill if somebody comes out with one by then.
Motor City Casters still has some of these. I ordered one the other day. I already have a smallblock Chevy engine in the parts bin and I ordered the sport mirrors from ebay. I have something special planned for this project. Stay tuned, I think a lot of you will like it.
Okay, I got all my interior panels done with the brown carpet. While the Elmer's glue is drying I can put the final touches on the undercarriage. Starting to get closer to getting this project under glass.
They're starting to become Barrett Jackson. Anything with the name Shelby on it, first gen Broncos, '86 Mercedes, and the occasional fake '70 LS6 Chevelle with horrible wheels.
Right now I have seen this light bar available. It's probably not period correct but it's still a light bar.

Sweet! I agree you defiantly need to dull the wheels down a bit. From the factory the wheels were painted silver and the trim ring were kind of a brushed finish. I'm thinking of getting one of these kits now just for the wheels and tires as I'm not happy with my '70 Roadrunners rolling stock. These would look perfect on that and I have a few extra Cragars and AMT pad printed tires then I can build the Duster as sort of a day 2 car. now what color? ?
