Can anyone ID what kits these tires are from?
Casey replied to Chuck Most's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Are these the same tires? The eBay seller specifically states "U.S. Royal" in the title and description, though there are no close up images to confirm. -

It's typically used over plastic surfaces-- like molded interior parts-- which you want to refinish, especially slick or surface which cannot be easily given a mechanical prep. You then apply a vinyl dye over the adhesion promoter/primer as the finish coat. Improves top coat adhesion to plastic and chrome https://duplicolor.com/product/adhesion-promoter

Though never mentioned anywhere on the "Millennium" kit's box, some of the Street Machine parts are included, including the Centerline Auto Drag style wheels, which are easily the best 'street' set available IMHO: Content pics of the 1/25 AMT Millennium '55 Chevy Bel Air Sedan kit can be found here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/849/amt-1955-chevy-bel-sedan

Any New Information on Revell 40 Ford?
Casey replied to CEKPETHO BCE's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
They have. Pics of the 2002 version can be viewed here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/848/25-revell-ford-standard-coupe I don't have the 2015 #85-4371 kit pictured above, but after reviewing the instruction sheet, it appears to be the same as the 2002 version, except for a new decal sheet. The white scallops appear to be the only significant change. -
Seems to work fine when taken portrait style and uploaded directly from my phone, but I doubt you are using a Nokia 928 Windows phone. Make sure there are no underscores "_" in the file name, either, as that sometimes seems to be a problem, too.

Need help identifying and locating a part
Casey replied to Modlbldr's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I don't think it is. That part appears to be mostly flat, then curls up at one end. The piece you have appears to have a gentle, mostly continuous curve along its entire length. I would follow the Vending Machine suggestion, especially with that one sprue attachment point. It definitely "feels" '20's C-cab or Model-T based to me. -

Beautiful work and great ideas, too.

Did it have the Vega 2.3L or the Pontiac "Iron Duke" 4-cylinder? If the latter, the 1/25 MPC Pontiac Fiero kit includes one:

Need help identifying and locating a part
Casey replied to Modlbldr's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
It looks like it only has one sprue attachment point, but I can't seem to find any clear pics of the parts still attached to the runners to confirm. I was thinking it might be the roof piece from the Bad Medicine, but I don't think so. -

Yes, I'm aware they are different, just like a Sedan and a Coupe are different, but that fact seems lost on some here.
