  1. Here's the Palmer '40 Ford Sedan review topic:
  2. It might be possible the new Torq Thrust II wheels are included in the SnapFit kit, and the box art is accurate. I don't know if both GL kits include the same tires and wheel mounting points, but if so, I see no reason they couldn't be included, as they are molded separately from the rest of the chrome plated parts.
  3. Or, maybe it'll be like this?:
  4. You sir are correct. Joe H took more pics in that same topic:
  5. I think Round2 has few remaining options as far as 1/8 scale MPC bikes are concerned.
  6. At least 7 of the 8 Corvette 'sites I checked out list Ontario Orange, paint code 991, available in 1970. Correct or not, I'm glad to see this style box art return, and wish Round2 would use it a bit more often. "Pre-lettered tires" doesn't seem to be the same as pad printed, so I wonder if the modern Polyglas GT tires wouldn't work with the wheels in this kit? I don't even want to think about which tires Ertl included the last go 'round.
  7. I suspect this preliminary box art was going to be used for the full-detail/"glue" version of MPC's '69 Dodge Charger kit, due to the presence of the optional American Racing Torq Thrust II style wheels, which the SnapFit kit does not include. The presence of the '71 Charger grille inserts is another factor, as you pointed out. Brett posted some content pics in a previous topic covering the SnapFit version of MPC's '69 Dodge Charger kit here:
  8. There are a few chrome plated parts, but probably shouldn't be any:
  9. Why were the clearance indentations needed?
  10. Only what I posted above. I believe this is only a preliminary image until the box art is finalized, but they did go through the (small) trouble of adding the AMT logo, so who knows. 53 pieces. That's not great.
  11. Oops, you're right, it was MPC, not Polar Lights:
  12. No apologies necessary. There's a lot to keep track of when Round2 switches the brand labeling, when two '69 Dodge Chargers are involved, and when the DOH packaging goes away too. It's interesting to see Round2 including the figures, similar to what Revell has (or at least had) done for a few years. I'm sure the pre-painted figures alone will move a few kits.
  13. No, the it's the Polar Lights snap-together kit, as Rob mentioned below.
  14. Now I see it wasn't present on the original issue, either, so it makes sense for the sake of consistency:
  15. Originally a Lindberg (possibly even a Pryo kit first?) kit, now packaged under the MPC label, presumably to mesh with all the previous MPC large scale motorcycle reissues: Older, original Lindberg kit for comparison:
  16. Box art for the 1/25 MPC Mack DM 800 Tractor reissue, kit #899:
