Unfortunately, I think this is one of the early releases with the ill-shaped windshield, etc. Details here:

1/24th '72 Roadrunner Bumper F&B
Casey replied to Mr mopar's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
So the front and rear bumpers are 1/2 scale, not 1/25 scale, correct? And they are designed to fit the 1/24 scale Revell (nee Monogram) '71 Plymouth Satellite or GTX kit? Are the transparent red tail light lenses and lower valence panel shown not included? What has me curious is the rear bumper has the molded in year license plate, just like the MPC annual part, which is 1/25 scale. It also appears there is some red peeking out in the crevices between the license plate nook and the raised edge of the license plate, which is the color the 1/25 MPC '72 Road Runner was molded in. Ditto for the chip in the white primer covered front bumper showing some red underneath. -
Here's a good look at the contents of the 2014 reissue of this 1/25 Revell-AG '65 Mustang GT kit: https://intscalemodeller.com/viewtopic.php?f=677&t=26198 Last U.S. boxing, from 2009?:

Okay, I wasn't sure if you wanted a later version or not, but it sounds like the early Hemi (331-354-392) is what you are after, since those were produced exclusively in the '50s. Pics of the engine I suggested can be seen here:

The original crate engine. ? Thanks.

Define "large displacement". As in, not a late Hemi? The AMT '57 Chrysler 300 has the nicest a nice (IMHO) early Hemi, but I've never had the Moebius early Hemi in hand to compare:

Wrong scale listed on Tower's website. Same old 1/24 Monogram kit, just in the European style box, with correct scale printed on box:

I received a few additional wheels I could use some help identifying, please. Group #1: Lower left (one facing up, one down) 14" deep Torq-Thrust style with open hub bore, thin back bevel on the lip area. Back half possibly above these two? On right, unknown five-lug six spoke, backside is flat with no stud/mounting boss: Set #2...Six-spoke, six-lug, molded in green, from...AMT Indy Car or 1/24 Road Racers (Hussein, etc.)? Don't think these are from the Opel GT:

Approximately 16" long, $10.99 each but 50% off currently...no coupon needed. ? They are labeled as "solid brass", so plan on weathering as necessary. No crimped-on texture to these, juts smooth and, well, they look like standard linked chain to me. Each link measures .014" thick, '063" wide, and .116" long:

Bob Johnson A number (of Accurate Miniatures molds) were sold to Academy... B-25, SB2U, Yak, F3F, Corvette, McLaren, the never seen NASCAR Taurus and the SBD.. Doubt that any of the car kits will ever be run again... McLaren licensing is astronomical..... APMC holds the P-51/P-51A/A-36 and wing parts for the P-51B (Never see the AccMin P-51B probably),, IL-2, and TBF/TBM... This is FACT!!

Here's the mold for one of the soon to be reissued (now ex-) Monogram 1/32 scale Funny Cars Atlantis shared on their facebook page: And a look at two versions of the forthcoming Camaro F/C, which provides a good view of the body contours and simplified chassis:

The '82 Camaro puzzles me a bit, too, so no idea on that one. The 1/32 Firebird and Nova haven't been available for 30+ years, so there is likely some pent up demand, despite the non-mainstream scale. Not sure how slot car builders factor in, but Monogram kits usually had mostly accurate bodies over simplified underpinnings, so if you only care about the body, these two offer unique subject material. The 1/32 F/Cs were out in the early '70s, so probably some nostalgia at play there. The bodies are all decent, and though the chassis' are highly simplified, where else are you going to find a decent looking Camaro, Gremlin, and Mustang II F/C? See the Jungle Jim ex-Revell 1/25 kit for comparison. I don't know that there is a convincing argument for any of these 1/32 scale ex-Monogram kit in all honesty, but much like some of Round2's reissues, may they are doing them just because the the molds are in good condition and, well, they can. Tooling up new clear parts must not be prohibitively expensive, either, otherwise I would think all of these would have never progressed beyond the test shot stage.

revell 55-57 chevy info needed
Casey replied to jeffdeoranut's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
With Atlantis soon to reissue both the (originally Revell) '57 Nomad and Bel Air 2-door Hardtop kits, people should at least be able to get decent kits, provided Atlantis has cleaned things up a bit. -
It's, ummm....

Exactly what I thought when I saw those fender mounted train horns. ? At least it has potential. Love the Avanti-ish rear quarter panels. -

Were these six the extent of the 1/25 MPC Super Stocker series of kits? 1) 1-2750 GTO Super Stocker (soon to be reissued): 2) 1-2751 Camaro Super Stocker: 3) 1-2752 Chevelle Super Stocker: 4) 1-2753 Mustang Super Stocker: 5) 1-2754 Monte Carlo Super Stock (reissued multiple times over the last decade plus): 6) 1-2755 Barracuda Super Stock: I recall someone here mentioning the Camaro body from the MPC annual kit was used for the Super Stocker-- does that follow for the others, too? Here are the first(?) four shown in the 1974 MPC catalog, which was the original year of release?:

That slanted C-pillar mucks everything up visually. The sedan delivery conversions look more proportionate and unified, though, as seen on the resin body. The stock body already has very pleasing proportions, so I see no need to break out the razor saw. ☺️ Found this '64 Acadian Invader on B-A-T: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-pontiac-acadian-invader/
