  1. Thanks. Those weird looking pieces a the top/bottom had me puzzled, but they are the custom "seat support beams": Not mine, they are on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/Models-Kits/1188/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=funhobbies_2014&_sac=1
  2. Can anyone identify which AMT kit(s) these chrome parts were originally included with? I can't recall which other kit(s) included the Reactor wheels other than the AMT '49 Ford Club Coupe:
  3. Nope, was looking at a pic of the original AMT '70 LTD...let's just go with 4-door cars. ?
  4. Another member of the AMT Action Team! Kind of neat to consider there will be three '60s/'70s American 4-door hardtop kits released within a 12 month span...doubt that has ever happened before, and likely never again.
  5. Reads much like the video dialogue: https://gluestickssite.wordpress.com/2019/08/04/history-of-the-amt-model-company/
  6. I guess what interests me is that entire section-- runner, parts, etc. consists of entirely new parts, yet the upper left corner (I'm assuming the runner on that corner matches the other three, but perhaps it doesn't) appears to be missing. There are also four all-new clear lenses, two of which are designed to be used with the two spotlights...what are he other two for? It seems odd four would be created if only two would ever be used...
  7. From AMT's 1963 Pontiac Tempest:
  8. Thanks, Gerry. Here's a pic of the chrome plated parts from the Mod Stocker release:
  9. That's true, and would justify the expense. Out of curiosity, since it's presumed the original body sections for the mold are long gone, a new body would be needed. Would you prefer to see the all-new '68 Coronet body combined with he existing AMT/MPC (Round muddied the waters with the '70 Coronet R/T) '68-'70 Mopar B-body underpinnings and a '68 specific interior? Kind of. Parts of it are new-- body, front bumper/grille, interior panels, and so on. I will grant to you it was not a minor change/update, but the car is a huge part of a show which has a major following, especially in sci-fi circles, something which Jamie Hood from Round2 is acutely aware. Does any '68 Coronet have that same type of cross-genre appeal? I don't see Round2 putting much effort into all-new automotive kits, so I think we can eliminate them. Revell? Maybe, as they have invested in the '68 and '69 Chevelle SSs (yes, pre-bankruptcy "old" Revell, but still), but I don't see Moebius taking this on, either.
  10. Not the best image, but the supercharger and associated chrome-plated parts are still present, so they should be part of the MPC Bill Jenkins Pro Stock reissue soon:
  11. And what else is missing from that corner that they went through the trouble to remove it? Hmmmm....
  12. AMT 1210 - Ford Courier Minivan
  13. I grabbed these images from a completed eBay listing, but not sure if it was from the Mod Stocker version? Guessing yes based upon the X'd out rear trim panel?:
  14. I figured the upcoming Mach 5 would receive a lukewarm reception at best, too, but maybe not?: POLAR LIGHTS PLL-981 1/25 Speed Racer Mach 5 Race Car (Snap)
