This is the biggest problem IMHO. Most random wire/rod people use tends to be too reflective or shiny, which, unless the fuel line is polished stainless steel or aluminum tubing, looks off for a stock type application.

History of Monogram's Squarebody GM Pickups
Casey replied to Fabrux's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
If anyone has (or is willing to take) clear images of the parts as they are still attached to the runners, it would be interesting to compare the Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy with the Pulldozer/Mad Mudder to see what was replaced, eliminated, or changed between the various versions. I think the Hickey(?) style hood included with the Jimmy was mentioned on one of the first few pages of this topic, but the pics I took of the Jimmy kit I once had are sadly long gone. Here's a comparison of the clear parts from the Mad Mudde (top image) and Sheriff's Blazer (second image), showing how the rear cap's "glass" was either closed off by a gate, or possibly, eliminated: Sheriff's Blazer "glass": Bonus image of the Mad Mudder parts: -

If you are not specifically needing the tire with the raised lettering, they have been included in Revell's '32 Ford Sedan and 5W kits from the start. It will depend upon which 1/24 scale tires, and if they truly and accurately scale out to 1/24 scale. I would suggest measuring the O.D of the wheel's lip, then using that measurement to find tires into which they'd fit. Do you have a specific 1/24 tire in mind in which you want to use these wheels?

Tail Lights - Scratch Building
Casey replied to Nekomata's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
It would probably close to correct, if we are considering the real thickness of a lens-- maybe .140" or so? I didn't measure the thickness of these films, but they were heavy duty, and not the dollar store transparent wrapping paper type material. The lack of a prismatic texture would limit their usefulness, but at least they would provide some depth, which adding color to a solid surface doesn't do. -

The 1/24 Monogram Chevy/GMC K-series pickup tooling is in China, but maybe the Pulldozer/Mad Mudder tooling remains in the U.S. with Revell, as it was last in production in 1999: Granted that was 20 years and three owners ago, but the Blazer/Jimmy specific versions haven't been produced since, what, 1983? I still think the Blazer/Jimmy is gone for good, and the PD/MM version what remains of it. -
Revell 1/25 Custom Lowrider Cadillac Review

Just one seller. No reason for those in the know to pay that much. Tower Hobbies has it listed for less than $23.00. -
It was probably the Ross Gibson resin cast Slant Six engine, like so: Pretty much made obsolete by Lindberg tooling up a very nice Slant Six engine and including it in a few kits in the 2000s, While the Lindberg Slant Six includes both automatic and manual transmissions, it represents an early style /6 with the ribbed valve cover. Easy to sand smooth if you are replicating a later /6. Good info here:

Any hope of back-editing on the horizon?
Casey replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in How To Use This Board
Bill, who? ? I think it's a site-wide thing, and you can't allow individual members to have editing abilities. I'm sure Dave will figure something out, or perhaps nothing will come of it. You can always create a new post, copy and paste the old info into your new topic, add the images back in then ask a mod to delete the old topic. Sometimes that's preferable, depending upon who or what else was posted in the old topic. -
Mike, who built the model shown on these images and in Round2's video, mentioned the rear bumper guards are separate pieces, so you're halfway there. With some careful trimming of the SS version's bumper grille piece and the same part on the Supernatural kit, you should be good to go.

Perhaps a two-day/weekend editing window could be opened for all members to clean up some of their topics? ?♀️ -

It was "announced" in 2016(?) but much work was needed, so the release was pushed back, a new 3D printed master body shell, grille/bumper was created...read more here: And here: Basically, it's still coming but arriving later than first anticipated.
