There are a few kits with Hilborn-style mechanical fuel injection intakes, but to narrow it down, which scale are you building in? http://hilborninjection.com/product/new-426-chrysler-fuel-injector/

All I have found are white molded parts for the slot racer issues, and the custom grille insert wasn't included with them: Not sure if this block has been painted or not, but it does appears to be very close to the royal blue color in question: http://slotblog.net/topic/74642-monogram-124-kits-34-ford-etc/?p=671899

1/25 AMT '65 Ford Galaxie "Jolly Green Gasser"
Casey replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I hadn't noticed the difference until today, but it just struck me as odd AMT would have done it both ways back then. I think the box art in the first post is the final art, as it appears the side dump exhaust tube diameter has been decreased on the new version. Very close to the original, though. -

Looks like it was in 1977, when kit T-240 was released: Good thing those intertwined, multi-colored flame decals are gone for good. ?

Small Hatchback like car bodies
Casey replied to Gumball's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Yes, there are plenty. Post a Wanted ad here on the forum or search for bodies or body shells on eBay. Revell VW Golf/Rabbit, MPC Chevette (though likely not as cheap), AMT AMC Gremlin, etc are all options. -

Now that Kitchen Table Resins has ceased production, that's going to be a challenging task. I don't recall any kits which included the 144-ci inline Ford six cylinder. Here's what KTR offered, for reference:

Thanks. I whiffed on that one. I have a bit of a soft spot for that mid-late 70s AMT box art, but yes, the Groove Boss art was, um, less appealing. The Sprint cars appeared again in the 1976 AMT catalog, like so: Ah, there the Groove Boss is, kit T-171, in the 1977 AMT catalog, along with the Grant King Race Team kit:

These three initial kits in AMT's 1/25 scale Sprint Car series, first released in 1975, appear to be all which ever existed, as it doesn't appear the series ever expanded. The Grant King Sprint car was reissued multiple times, but I can't find anything which indicated either the Pole Cat nor Drifter kits were ever reissued. I'm sure someone here is well versed in the differences and similarities between these three kits, but it seems to have been a major gamble in 1975 for AMT to create and release three similar-yet-unique appearing kits. Here's the relevant page from the 1975 AMT catalog, showing all three kits: T-170 Drifter Super Modified: T-169 Pole-Cat Winged Sprint: T-168 Grant King Sprint Racer: T-567 Grant King Race Team: 1987 AMT/Ertl re-issue, #6511: AMT/Ertl/Dirtrack Racecars re-issue, #1873P:
