  1. Here's the cropped page from the 1974 AMT catalog when the Steve McGee "Black Beauty" Dragster was first issued as kit T-176:
  2. The below is from the 1974 AMT catalog:
  3. No. The humidity is the biggest problem. Do you have anywhere indoors, in air conditioned (or at least dehumidified) air where you can paint?
  4. Good news, many Round2 kit decal sheets from the last decade or so are now available for purchase through the Auto World Store, including the sheet from this specific re-issue of the C-Series Ford: https://www.autoworldstore.com/product-p/amt650decals.htm
  5. Well, the box art might be this kit's lone redeeming factor....four-slot mag wheels, if you're into those:
  6. And two pics of the late '80s AMT/Ertl reissue, in the Holodeck-style box:
  7. I don't see why they wouldn't, unless sales prove to be disappointing. Round2 has already reissued (or soon to be) four of the same kits reissued under RC2:
  8. I think the below is what's found inside the above: Two additional images of the Motor City Stocker Series box:
  9. Box bottom image from new reissue:
  10. Yes, it was probably the new ice box. Only the "tonneau tarp" is included.
  11. Just a heads up if you need/want the decal sheet from this specific re-issue. It's available at the Auto World Store: https://www.autoworldstore.com/product-p/amt690decals.htm
  12. I think Revell has licensing for that currently (though it may not be exclusive?), as the 1/24 '71 GTX is soon to be reissued as "Dom's GTX" or similar. The 1995 Eclipse is due in a few months, but the Supra seems a likely follow up. Do those two kits share the same tires?
  13. Here are some content pics of the earlier AMT/Ertl stock (well, "factory" drag) version of this kit: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1352/amt-pontiac-catalina-super-duty My high praise for this kit still stands, though, all other things being nearly equal, I would seek out the Arnie Beswick version, which is molded in white plastic and includes pad-printed M&H slicks:
  14. As in, all at the same time and connected by something, or as one complete piece with nothing separate? The RH cylinder head should be slightly offset from the LH head, so one should be slightly further forward on the block. It looks like the front and rear faces of the heads are parallel, but it's hard to tell from your picture. The intake manifold's runners appear to have gotten this offset detail correct, but if the cylinder heads were one piece with the block, it looks like it might've been designed incorrectly. Better pics would help, but it's hard to see on a semi-opaque part.
  15. It is not, and seems to be lost forever.
  16. Another reissue recently announced: MPC-927 1/25 1934 Slammer Modified Stocker Race Car
  17. Pretty sure Ford referred to this as a Sportsroof, but the 1/25 AMT '69 Ford Torino fastback is to be reissued as kit #1217: AMT-1217 1/25 1969 Ford Torino Cobra Fastback Car I think circa-1969 style box art would be a great choice:
  18. Probably not a huge surprise after Round2 created all new body panels for the fictitious Snake Mongoose Wedge dragster kit a few years ago, but, it's coming as AMT kit #1214: AMT-1214 1/25 Steve McGee Black Beauty Wedge Dragster
  19. Looks like the 1/25 AMT "Jolly Green Gasser" 1965 Ford Galaxie kit is going to be reissued as kit #1192: AMT-1192 1/25 1965 Ford Galaxie Jolly Green Gasser
