  1. People have: No '67 Impala wagon from Round2 is forthcoming, sorry.
  2. You should find most of them listed here: https://boxartden.com/collections/gallery/index.php/Vintage-Model-Kit-Catalogs-1950-1999/Revell/Revell-1976 There were four articles which ran in Scale Auto Enthusiast in 1989 or so, which detailed the history of drag racing kits, and I believe all the kits you are looking for were listed in the third or fourth installment, too.

  4. This one, correct?: Which I think matches up with this box?:
  5. Accessories make a lot of sense when the trunklid (boot) is designed from the beginning to open and a separate trunk compartment is provided, too, as in the JO-HAN 1965 Rambler American:
  6. I never meant to imply they were, and I wasn't even sure they were in fact Hurst wheels. I found an original(?) issue AMT '65 GTO on eBay with some clear pics of the mag wheels, and they look a bit Tera Thrust-like, but hard to say. They definitely have a unique center cap, though: Here's a look at the backside of the wheels, along with the rest of the chrome plated parts: Slightly better view on a different instruction sheet, printed with black ink: Close ups of the front and rear bumpers/grille/tail panel from a different listing:
  7. I can't recall what the last issue looked like, which, IIRC, was during the RC2 era, but this issue will no doubt be improved in some ways. I'm guessing this will be the version which is reissued:
  8. Tagging onto this post as I just realized we can no longer edit PMs at all, there's not even a short window to allow editing. Can that be changed to allow a limited period of time to edit?
  9. Neat facebook page which colorizes vintage photos: https://www.facebook.com/imbuedwithhues/ Today's image:
  10. Many kits have front and rear tires of the same diameter, but in different widths. For example: Can you be a bit more specific what you are looking for, or which wheels you have that you are trying to find tires to match?
  11. ...which is not really representative of what the kits actually sold for:
  12. There's a rather thorough review topic for the AMT '36 Ford kit here:
  13. That is the case. James Duff mentioned it here on the forum, and Jamie from Round2 pretty much confirmed it in the livestream video they had a few months ago.
  14. https://www.collectormodel.com/amt/3151-amts-flying-wedge-is-set-to-take-off-again/ After many, many months of research and design, we’re finally ready to release our beautiful Original Art Series issue of AMT’s Flying Wedge Rear Engine Dragster! This was quite the endeavor as the entire body sections had to be retooled, so we took this opportunity to compare it against AMT’s other wedge dragster based on Steve McGee’s Black Beauty. While the two kits were similar, the original Flying Wedge kit’s body was lacking detail and the original McGee kit wasn’t quite accurate. So this time, we authentically duplicated the rear wedge section to match the real McGee car. The wedge section also features additional detailing like sheet metal rivets and in our research, we discovered that the rear lip of the wedge was adjustable by means of a piano hinge along the back. We’ve added that hinge detail, making the this kit the most accurate 1970’s style wedge dragster kit you can build. https://www.collectormodel.com/amt/3470-don-prudhommes-radical-wedge-dragster-hits-the-track-from-amt/ When we retooled AMT’s Flying Wedge Dragster last year, we took the opportunity to tool an additional wedge body to match Prudhomme’s car. His had some variations like the vents on the cowling behind the engine, in addition that during the testing process of the real car, the exhaust openings were covered as the headers were re-routed to under the wedge itself. I take the above to mean the forthcoming Steve McGee dragster kit will include the same four body panels included with the then-new 2016 reissue of the AMT Flying Wedge Dragster:
  15. Fixed. Are the valve covers the same throughout?
  16. It looks like there was set of Hurst wheels included in the first/early issues of the AMT '65 Pontiac Tempest GTO kit? Hard to tell via the instruction sheet illustration, but I think I see the Hurst "H" on the centercap: Also, pour one put for the long lost cross-ram style Weber manifold and carbs.
  17. JO-HAN 1963 Rambler American: JO-HAN 1965 Rambler American: DOHC 5M-GE found in the MPC Toyota Celica Supra kits:
  18. This topic is still in need of someone with an original AMT '64 Pontiac Tempest GTO to take and share some images of the body, preferably side-by-side with the Polar Lights '64:
