Just speechless at the detail.

Well today has been a disaster, painted the air deflector for the roof and yes sir, I gotta run in the paint?. Next, I had stripped the chrome for the four grill pieces, reworked the edges and normal injection molding marks, primer and painted gloss white, let it dry. Today I sprayed Revell chrome over the gloss white and it lifted the white. I had done an experiment with spraying a test plastic bar with primer and gloss black and sprayed the chrome over both. It looked better over the gloss black than the primer and did not lift the black. So in the stripper they go and start over.

Yup, I would be worried the vinegar would discolor the paint or worse. Might have to try it.

Another mock-up to get exhaust height and study the air deflector on the roof. If I paint the air deflector white then I could use the decal in red.

Haha, glad I’m not the only one. Just stole a bunch of my wife’s sewing pins, brass and have a head that looks like a rivet.

Thanks Brian, my paint jobs are not very complicated, typically I like the industrial work truck themes, they are simple.

That will be a cool project, be watching.
