  1. Love the concept and the outcome. Might have to dig through the parts box and see what I can come up with.
  2. Love an odd ball gasser! Pretty rad you kept the left hand drive. Also like that the gas tank is tucked under the hood. Nice work.
  3. Spot on! Dig the vent windows. Cool box art worth replicating.
  4. Killer build, love the sliding side "glass". Nice work!
  5. That came out great! I'd would love to see some pictures of the chassis work.
  6. I may be wrong and someone may have already mentioned this but it was my understanding that the AWD system was similar to what was used on Astro vans of the time.
  7. I like where this is going.
  8. This is awesome! Makes me want to build a frame for my Pontiac. Nice work!
  9. Lucked out and was able to get some work done while it was raining. The chassis is finished with the exception of some final weathering. I plan on remaking the grill inserts when I drill out the bumpers. Once that's sorted I should be ready for paint.
  10. Been working on my 1:1 Project so this has taken a bit of a back seat but I was able to get a bit of work done the other night. Have the suspension glued in place. Wish I didn't glue the wheels on since they're not weathered yet. Need to do a bit more body work including cutting a passage for the 180° headers to dump out. I was able to locate some stock bumpers that I'll be attempting to remove the bumper strip and add the holes that would leave on a 1:1 bumper from this era. Thanks for looking.
  11. These little details make a world of difference!
  12. Inching closer to completion. Made a cover to shield the driver from the exhaust since the original is nowhere to be found. Used some Quinta rivets to add some much needed detail. Then hit the chassis with some paint. Now to start final assembly and weathering.?
  13. I love it, now I want to chop something!
  14. This thing is looking awesome! What’d you use to make the welds where the roof is chopped?
  15. I’ll have to dig into the stash and see what I have but those seem like solid options.
  16. Got a little more work done and shot it w some primer, starting to come together. Sanded down the hood supports to make it look gutted as well. Still need to figure out what to do for a front bumper and decide on paint colors.
  17. Thank you for the kind words. The plan was to use the kits interior exhaust cover but it's nowhere to be found so I'll have to make one from scratch. Any tips as to how to make rivets in scale?
