  1. Ouch, not sure how I did not spot that Carter carb under the phony stacks. Thanks for pointing that out to me....
  2. Nice model. Love the trailer. You did an excellent job on both. Impressed by your 3D work on the trailer Did you use Blender, Rhino or...???
  3. Great looking Chevy. I'm betting it has the old inline Blue Flame 6 cylinder and not the 265 V8?
  4. I have three of those Revell 60 Vette kits which are unassembled. I'm thinking of doing a pro-street with one kit and a resto-mode or pro-touring version with another. I also have an 4th unfinished Revell 60 Vette kit which I started over 30 years ago and put aside. What a great build and fantastic thread....
  5. Nice thread and build. Look forward to more progress.
  6. I am a Corvette guy but the Pantera and Shelby Cobra roadster are two of my most favorite cars of all time. Love what your doing with this kit. Never heard of this kit manufacturer before, but I've been out of the hobby 25-30 years.
  7. The last year of gen 1 Camaro - 1969 and first year of gen 2 - 1970 are my most favorite Camaro Z28s. Great thread and build...
  8. Looking fantastic....
  9. Love the direction this 63 Sting Ray is going... Pill bottles? What a good idea. I may use this when I build one of my 1960 Corvette kits as a pro-street or I may decide to build it as pro-touring.
  10. Love it!!! Looks super incredible...
  11. You did an excellent job on this kit.
  12. Nice model and work...
  13. Fantastic looking model. Love that front grille. Can I ask where it came from?
  14. Love your results and model. Excellent. In the 1960s and early 1970s I too much preferred AMT because of their metal axles. The plastic Revell axles often broke on me as well. Monogram and Johan were my second picks. Although I did have good luck with Aurora car models. I noticed you are from Minneapolis, hope your Wild have a good season except when they play my Blues in this year's NHL season. Take care...
  15. I built this kit when I was a teen ager. I had to have it after building the Austin and Anglia kits. Outstanding work...
  16. Outstanding model. Love the look, stance and clean detail of this masterpiece...
  17. I took these photos at our weekly A&W Cruise at Woodside Ferry Terminal parking lot, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with my dlsr Olympus E500 & Zukko 14-45 lens.
  18. No mine was a former drag racer and the 283 was long gone. At the drag strip I was told it ran a big block Chevy. Not sure if it was a 396, 427 or 454. When I purchased the car, the owner was putting it back on the road. It has a small journal 327, that's the 327 Chevy put a 283 crank into to give birth to a 302 for the Z28. Edlebrock Street Performer intake manifold, Edlebrock 600cfm carb. I replaced the old distributor, points and condenser with a MSD HEI distributor. Exhaust manifolds are the Chevy ram horns. Single cylinder brake cylinder was replace with a Mr Power Brakes dual master cylinder and replaced front drums with ECI disc brake conversion. Old vacuum wiper motor replace with a new multi speed electric motor. It also has a Muncie M21 and 12 bolt GM rear end with 4:11 gears. Your 61 is a beauty and I think I may have seen it posted on the Corvette Forum of which I've been a member for 22 years.
