  1. I've just chopped out the same fuel tank. You did a far better job than my hacking did
  2. Love the rivet detail. Lots of time and effort to get this detailed up. Such a pretty race car
  3. That's a great range and variety
  4. Love the colour choice
  5. Drag wagon and last convertible are my favourites.
  6. Looks a nice kit, tempted to try one of these as another kit to learn on, seems a few for not a lot of money
  7. Love the Trans am cars as said in your other post. Lightweight ectype is very well done. Love the idea on creating the roof
  8. Love the impala, think they're a lovely design in that shape
  9. This is looking really nice. Have a 1980 rubber bumper GT so love these cars
  10. Going to follow this one as working on same kit. Like the work to get some brakes on this car, I need to look at a similar idea
  11. Yeah very aware of his talents and history. What a man. Not made any progress over Christmas waiting on styrene sheets to redo the floor. Also debating copper rods or styrene rods for the cage. Has anyone got more pictures of any racing camaros of similar age and there transmission tunnels. I feel this cars has been updated beyond how a racer in period would be.it also looks squared off in some pictures.
  12. That's a beautiful model, love these cars when they race at classic meets
  13. They are awesome gives me something to aim for with my Camaro build. Is there a build thread I can have a ready through as want to work out best way to do my cars roll cage and opening doors without either interfering. Roll cages look too scale to what rod did you use?
  14. Awesome model! Really nice,not a kit I've seen
  15. No, not that I am aware off. I am a Miles. I don't think I have any American family. I'm in the UK. Although there was a John Miles of Lotus F1 fame but doubt any relation there either
  16. While my finger recovers and the misses has banned me from sharp objects, Looking at the 3 wheel sets I've received. Have another set of the correct wheel and rim also now on the way but want to start working out the arches.
  17. Some parts have arrived realised the fuel tank needs to come out the chassis to fit the race tank.... Unfortunately my blade slipped while cutting through the tank.... Safe to say I need to think of a better way to cut parts out before I lose any digits.
  18. I've decided a whole new floor will be needed as I do t like the moulded in pedals or texture for a carpet on the kit. I've sliced the rear firewall of and rear window shelf,I may look to see if I can smooth the texture off the transmission tunnel too keep that
  19. Plenty of e30 M3 kits about but not sure about any non M3 kits. Could try file down an M3 shell
  20. Agree with Pierre about last of the good looking prototypes, Aston wasn't a bad looker
  21. Looks good and will follow as would like to do a couple GT3 cars
  22. Lots of goodies going into this one. 3d printing something I did part of my engineering diploma but I took hours just to make a prototype TV stand.....
  23. ? wow. What amazing detail you've put in. Looks like the real thing!
