  1. Thank you. The decals came with the resin trans-kit except the trunk decals. I printed those, the one with the kit was too short.
  2. Thank you. Thank you. I have been adding gauge light, headlights and taillights to all of my build lately.
  3. A little wet sanding and polishing. Waiting on seat belt photo etch to complete interior before assembly.
  4. Completed some detailing of the undercarriage adding fuel, brake and parking brake lines.
  5. Actually looks reasonably close to the original willow green. I went with MCW Finishes willow green on my build.
  6. A little more work done. Some detailing of the engine compartment and assembled the engine. Stud in carb so air cleaner can be removed when desired. Also 2K clear on the body. A little trash in the roof but not bad, will sand and polish out just fine in a few days.
  7. I have gotten a bit more work done today. Added the decals and did a lot of the detail painting. Started assembling the interior and realized I didn’t have the seat belt photo-etch I needed so getting that ordered.
  8. Thanks, it is one I wish I still had.
  9. Thank you! Thank You!
  10. I tried to drop the backend but there is nothing to attach the back wheels to above the rear suspension that I already cut down so much. I decide to take new pictures with the front end sitting much better. I am not going to make the mistake saying it is truly done again. Until I send it to its final owner I am sure I will find things I want to improve. ?
  11. More painting coming along. Waiting for the molotow chrome to dry a few days before 2K clear. I am going to add the black GT/CS stripes before clear too.
  12. Thank you.
  13. I am reproducing what mine had which was the other more oval style.
  14. Agreed. Looking back at the older images it really was bad.
  15. I went ahead and cut off the front wheels and reattached the barely holding on to the upper control arms. Helped a bit and really not noticeable unless you look really hard where the wheel is attached from underneath.
  16. Ah, yeah the kit one fit horrible at the windshield, which is why I went with the resin. You did a nice job of fixing it though.
  17. What were you wanting to see? It’s a nice resin top. You did fix the kit one nicely, and I am sure you can fix the break.
  18. Finally get some color on some parts. Base coat on body.
  19. Don't let us stop you! But in all honesty unless you have a great preference for the 1957 the 1956 Thunderbird AMT kit is much nicer. I picked one up I thought I was going to steal the chassis for the 57 and seeing how nice that kit is I couldn't bring myself to do it.
  20. Nice work on the top. I went the easy route and got a resin top for my build of this kit from Drag City Castings.
  21. I actually cut down the suspension as far as I could. Another thing I don't love about this build. I actually think the tires are too small, they don't fill the wheel wells much at all.
  22. The real car.
  23. I am calling this one done. Hopefully the family member who I made this for will like it.
  24. Thank you. Thank you.
  25. Body, interior and chassis joined. Still some detailing to do. I am honestly not totally happy with this build but I think the family member whose car this is a replica of will like it well enough.
