  1. Thank You! Thank You!
  2. Thank You! It would be nice. I am planning a 1967 Convertible conversion in the future but will probably scratch build the trunk area.
  3. Photos posted to under glass area:
  4. I have started to build Mustangs that I used to own, the ones that got away. I used to own a J-code 302-4v Lime Gold GT/CS some years ago. I got a resin body and a 1968 GT Fastback kit. The resin body took a lot of work but I think it turned out ok. Of course I had to add LED headlights, taillights and gauge lights. That seems to become necessary for any build I do these days, according to my family. if you missed the WIP thread you can see it here:
  5. I have completed the GT/CS build, I will be posting to under glass soon.
  6. Thank you! Still need to add the antenna and a few minor details and some cleanup but it is getting close, I think.
  7. Thank You! I was looking back at what I started with, and I think it is coming out ok. Always some things I wish were better, but that is always the way it is.
  8. it doesn't appear so, just a custom grill with square lights.
  9. Almost finished with the build, just a few more things to take care of.
  10. I was hoping there was a resin option. I see a lot of other grills & frontend made, but it may be my only choice.
  11. that would be perfect, if I could find one.
  12. Has anyone made a grill for the 1979 Ford Van to convert the 1977 Model that has round headlights? I want to build a replica of my mother's van I learned to drive in, actually in 1980.
  13. What an incredible transformation!
  14. Wow! An amazing looking build!
  15. I added the photo-etch grill and fog lights during lunch.
  16. Very nice work, I especially love the interior detailing!
  17. Only a little more work done today. I have added clear red, UV clear resin and black outline paint to the rear reflectors. I added the rear reflectors (they weren’t lights in 1968), taillight trim and hood latches from the 1968 Shelby photo-etch set. I added the bumpers, taillights and lock rivets. Still need to add wipers, grill, script emblems, rear view mirror, and much more.
  18. Thank you! My family tells me I am no longer allowed to do a build without lighting. ?
  19. Thank you!
  20. The seatbelt photo-etch arrived today so I was able to finish up the interior and start final assembly. Still a lot to do but starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  21. Thank you!
  22. Thank you. It will only get better.
  23. Installed the glass, inside rear view mirror and installed the engine into the chassis. Being held up assembling waiting on seat belt photo-etch. The keys are already sitting on the passenger seat.
  24. So sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn’t cause to much of a rift between you and your father. I have a 1968 Shelby photo-etch set that has the correct rear markers. I will be using tamiya clear red and UV clear resin for the lenses.
  25. Thank you! Thank you. I have had a lot of classic Mustangs over the years, we have several now I have already made replicas of. This is one that I wish I hadn’t let get away.
