  1. Interesting projects and should provide a challenge. I have a decal sheet I bought before the PL kit came out and plans to do a similar pair of Petty Fords...eventually!
  2. I built that when it was new and still have it. Body moulded in blue, a few decals have peeled a bit in spots. The body snap fits to the cahssis so you can display the chassis. While I'd love to build another, instead I do keep a look out for the Model King Laguna S3 so I can build a different version.
  3. The '76 Gremlin and Meyers Manx kits, Issues 162 & 163 of MCM (my LHS holds them for me) and a spray can of Tamiya gloss black. A good day! I had a quick grock of the two kits and I'm a happy modeler! Beautiful kits!
  4. Thanks for the giggle, Jim!! Awesome that you share a hobby, too!
  5. I have several VW kits in the stash and have built a few over the past few years...I'll keep this in mind when I do get one on the bench. I'll post pics of the ones I've built already for inspiration if there is interest.
  6. No need to hide. My wife supports my hobby. I agree, Christian. I feel the same way!
  7. AMT 66 Nova MPC 69 Camaro Revell 58 Corvette (mild weathering)
  8. I just ordered 3 sets! Now shows he only has 3 sets left!!
  9. Life gets in the way of our hobbies sometimes! Looking forward to progress on this cool build! Good seeing you back on again, Romell!
  10. Nick-These are the wheels and tires in the 77 Mustang II kit.
  11. I'm thrilled to be able to build the stock version of the Gremlin X again! I built it back around 76 or so. It succumbed to a fall from the display shelf a long time ago. It is a car you can pick out of a line up, that's for sure.
  12. See page 1 for details...build is until the end of the world...er, 31 Dec 2012...
  13. That motor looks great!
  14. Very cool build! Love the imagination you put into it.
  15. Wow, really cool...looks like you need a tetanus shot before handling that one!
  16. Way to go everyone! You did great! Love the builds...shiny to rusty, slow to racey!
  17. I'll get a picture next time I get to the bench with the camera...holllow tires that are wider than on the box art and 8 spoke wheels.
  18. Can't wait to see the finished model in pictures!
  19. You guys are having a blast! I have to go to work now!! Happy building guys! I'm enjoying this from the sidelines! I'll check on the eyecandy after work, around 11pm EST!
  20. Coming along nicely everyone! Here's what I am starting with at this point. Haven't moved it to the front of the bench yet..."Galaxium"!
  21. It's a start! 77 Mustang II The wheels and tires pictured aren't in the kit! Oh, well...
  22. Great build, Domink! The trailer is a nice touch! Just add a bit of black (use a fine marker) to the vents in the front end between the windshield and the grill for a bit more detail. Here's what I mean. I did the conversion to the LRW body by adding a 70s Dodge van roof. I have the 70s Dodge van body that I've added the LRW bed and back of the cab to make a 70s van based pick up. Still lots to do on that one!
  23. There's a Batcave in the CBP for all things Batman, so why not a Hazzard County thread in the CBP for all builds related to DOH?
  24. Nice! Love the old big Fords!
  25. That is a very nice build, Scott. I've been a fan of the King for many years as well. I still root for #43!
