I'd be in on them.
-
Yes. I have '67 annual (I believe that was the year anyway) that had the Station wagon top. A custom Vette is on my build list, but way down the list.
-
What did you see on the road today?
rattle can man replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
And all I saw was a heard of goats and a few hawks. -
As a note, I tried matching it up to an AMT '67 Vette. It fit over the stock rear body work. I will have to figure out how to deal with the blending the thickness of the plastic in. without losing body details. creating new grills shouldn't be too hard. But before commencing a build, I need to figure out a custom front end.

that is parts 79 and 80

without the kit in front of me and not being too familiar with the actual car, my educated guess is controls for the side vents or perhaps hood and brake releases.
-
Thank you! Now I might see if I can use it with the custom wagon roof from the '67 AMT kit. It might be an interesting combo.
-
I'm not familiar with Palmer kits. Most of my stash is kits from the mid-70's and up.
-
I'm not sure if it is a front or rear panel. no markings. I don't have any parts associated with it.
-
I was digging in the stash for some parts and came across this. First I thought Tiger shark, then Dream Rod, but it is neither. Any ideas? it was part of a junkyard auction lot.

I have the pick-up. But I have the anti-Chevy and the weird engine (in line 6, AMC, Studebaker, etc.) genes.

want a drag strip?
rattle can man replied to rattle can man's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There was something every weekend (at least local or regional series) until the dispute over valuation for taxes went into high gear. Now there is nothing. The city lost out on national draws like the NHRA, SCCA, and Country Stampede (almost four days of nationally known, big name country stars with on-site camping). I won't go into the politics. -

All I can say is they extended bidding by 1 week. I believe the last NHRA nationals there was roughly 2 years ago. It is up for sale because of a tax dispute with the last owner. They have held NHRA and SCCA events at the facility along with music events, Friday night run-whatca-brung and regional drag racing, local dirt track events and motorcycle racing too. -
The city of Topeka has extended bidding on the Former Heartland motorsport Park. According to the media the high bid is currently $500. That is correct: $500; not $500K.

I just remember watching the show. I never dug deep into the details. I just remember it was a Kenworth Aerodyne.
-
Nice builds. I've never been a fan of the '37-8 Fords, but you've built some that i really like
-
I do not have one. I have a body tub, chopped coupe top, un-chopped coupe, up and down convertible top, custom and stock hood sides, and cut up fender unit extra.
-
I just realized something are you referring U.K. definition? U.S. hood is a bonnet in U.K., U.S. roof is a hood in U.K.
-
I have the stock height 3-window, chopped 3 window, convertible and stock 5 window versions. All of the parts can be mixed and matched, custom or stock, 5 window or three window. I wish there was a chopped version of the 5-window.
-
I believe I have one. I can check later this evening. I have 2 brand new kits and 4 partial builds that only give me two complete builds. PM me if you still need it.
-
If only we could get a B.J. and the Bear aerodyne.

Atlantis is doing the T.D. Pie wagon.
rattle can man replied to Mr mopar's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
So having never built or seen one, I have a question on the pie wagon. Is it a V6, flathead, or a V8 with headers into the side pipe assembly? -
Remember, this was an effort to re-use existing tooling (mostly original AMT Ala-Kart double kit parts with a blower set up added) to attract new sales. it didn't have to make sense to a '70s kid. It just had to be kool. I have two in my stash.
