  1. Very nice! Removal of the "eyebrows" completely changes the look.
  2. This will be the last one of the year. I really like this kit, may build another as a stocker with a 6. I was disappointed with the decals, no sponsor name or drivers names, guess they saved on royalties. #87 was Buck Baker, 1956 and 1957 Grand National champ. The Black Widow was basically a factory race car, lightweight and with the new 283 small block with mechanical fuel injection. I believe it was a milestone creating 1 HP per cubic inch of displacement.
  3. Very nice work! I like your interior details.
  4. It does seem to be loading faster, thanks Dave!
  5. Interesting. Must have been a spec wheelbase the cars had to adhere to, then they made the body fit.
  6. Very nice! I don't recall this car, was it a Busch series?
  7. Very nice! It looks great as a sportsman.
  8. Very cool! Why the stretch of the fenders, if you don't mind me asking? Was the real car lengthened? Nice work on the decals.
  9. But it features a CB radio!
  10. X2, the weathering on that plane looks outstanding.
  11. Very nice work!
  12. Nicely done!
  13. Nice clean work, well done!
  14. Some interesting ideas here Revell will need to do something different for sure. I think this was true of the boomer generation as well. We were all wrapped up in our "youth culture", still suffering from that today as we refuse to age! Our parents and previous generations were too busy fighting off the Depression and Hitler to be obsessed with themselves.
  15. Very nice. These things were pocket rockets in their day.
  16. X2, very well done!

    my 2018

Those are sweet! I like the '37.
  18. I go with the year finished. I keep a spreadsheet that calculates elapsed time from start to finish, average completion time for me is anywhere from 3-6 months. I've got three going right now, one of which might squeeze in before midnight Monday!
  19. That truck is beautiful! Great work.
  20. Great paint, awesome work.
  21. Really nice, that Starliner is to die for!
  22. X2, well done!
  23. Great group! My pick is the Chevelle.
  24. Add my vote for the hauler, but they're all cool! The Cobra in a crate is an interesting idea. That sub is too much!
  25. Great looking group. I especially like the crew cab!
