  1. Very nice. I've got to get one of the Revell kits I guess.
  2. Great job. I like the master cylinder details, brake lines and cover bail. I'm in VT also, not many 'woodchucks' on here.
  3. Got mine yesterday too. Great models, lots of new ideas percolating. So much talent out there, the hobby really is in a Golden Age right now.
  4. 4 and six kids! When do you find time to sleep? It's tough for you younger guys, that's why I was out of the hobby during the child-rearing years.
  5. I missed this the first time around, will definitly be in for one or two.
  6. A little bit of progress. Foiled the windows and started on the decals. I'm a little disappointed that the side stripe bled through the #11's a little. More to come.
  7. Looks like a cool project Robert, can't wait to see more. (now that we can see it )
  8. Seems entirely possible that they would have swapped seats (less weight). They were getting much more sophisticated by 1961 .

    GT-40

    Very cool, great added details.
  10. Wow, that's pink! They should have had Danica running it . Good job on an ill-fitting kit.
  11. I totally agree with Tommy. I "lurk" quite a bit over at Randy's site, even posted a few things, and it is great-a wealth of info. We need more stock car guys on here, the more the better. We're all looking to sharpen our skills and marvel at other's work. Hang around Joe, we're not really that dangerous!
  12. Looks sweet, nice color.
  13. Wow. All I did was a google search for images and posted what I found with no claim of "expertise". Please forgive me for speaking of the hallowed NASCAR.
  14. Followed the WIP, great job. I had never seen that paint scheme on a Petty car, great addition to the collection!
  15. Excellent build. I love it. Nice photos on the mirror also!
  16. Just heard that Earl Scruggs passed. One of the founding fathers of bluegrass along with Lester Flatt and Bill Monroe, inventor of the Scruggs style of picking that all banjo players emulate today. He will be truly missed.
  17. Nice job. I never understood why these didn't sell better, the perfect station wagon for the new millenium.
  18. Way cool. Can't wait to see more.
  19. I love these trucks and this kit. Careful Harry doesn't move it on you !
  20. Modeling in your sleep, now that's dedicated (or warped)
  21. I'm with you Ed. Have never attended a reunion, don't plan to. This year will be the 40th.
  22. I've been trying without success to copy/paste the list into PM's (I'm just computer literate enough to be dangerous). If you would like the list, please PM me with your email and I'll send it off to you. Thanks again.
  23. I tried to attach an excel file to a PM and received an error. What types of files can be attached? I looked in the Help topics but nothing there?
  24. I found this from a Google image search. The back deck appears to be blue (hard to tell). I've seen pics of the dash blue or black. Since it's at Milwaukee it could be a show car or a replica? Or maybe they were testing?
  25. Very cool. Great job.
