  1. G’day Michelle, l remember this show. You’ve done the Valiant nicely, especially around the front. Even Lucky Grills has his moustache and his, shall we say, portly stomach. ???

    1934 Packard

Beautiful finish on an elegant vehicle. ??
  3. Wow! The level of detail in the back is incredible, really looks like someone’s home away from home.??
  4. G’day Michelle. Yeah, Cop Shop was pretty big on Aussie TV back in the day. Nice work on the XC, looks good particularly around the front. Victoria police logos are on point too. ??
  5. G’day Michelle. I have vague recollections of seeing reruns of this show as a kid. I guess it’s the main reason I love American cars, seeing them on TV as a kid. Nice work on the Mustang. ??
  6. G’day Michelle, I like the paint on this one, it does have a nice subtle colour change as it’s turning on the carousel. Nice work. ??
  7. Nice job Michelle. ?? Good looking little car, these Dusters.
  8. This is going to look cool. I’m going to keep an eye on this. ??
  9. Yep, that’s ready for the burnout comp. Beautiful finish and detail on this one. ?? I recently got the DDA HQ Kingswood kit to build up a replica of one l owned back in the 80’s.
  10. G’day everyone. Just finished this, put it on here because as far as I know “Hemi Thunder” is a fictional name from Revell and not actually a real super stock drag car. ( please correct me if I’m wrong and it needs to be moved to the Drag car section ).This is the second car I built and the one where l discovered that Tamiya ts-13 clear eats decals for breakfast if applied too heavily. Dejected, I put it back in its box and forgot about it. Recently I found it and decided to resurrect it. Armed with a second set of decals courtesy of another 68 Dart kit I plan to build as the standard version, l stripped the body and started again. Long story short, here it is 3 years after I initially started it. The hood won’t close properly but that’s down to me as l may have mounted the radiator slightly too high. As always, any comments welcome. Cheers, Stuart.
  11. That window trim came out nice and neat. I’m a 57 Chevy fan, so I’m getting on board to watch the progress on this one. ??
  12. That’s one tuff looking truck. ??
  13. G’day Steve, this 57 body looks smooth and glassy. I’d say you’re definitely on the right track with the painting part of a build. Good stuff. ??
  14. Cheers Carl, I’m really enjoying this one. It’s turning out how l envisioned it.??
  15. Thanks Bob, I’ve got most everything painted, it’s just assembling it all. Also wrestling with the idea of drilling a tiny hole into the cab and putting a piece of thin wire to represent a radio antenna.
  16. Looks to me like a nice paint job. Smooth and shiny. Nice work. ??
  17. I’d almost forgotten about that TV show. That’s a really nice looking build, very subtle weathering. ??
  18. This looks sweet. I’ve been thinking about grabbing this kit, yours is pushing me to get one. Nice job. ??
  19. G’day Michelle. Great looking Ford. I do like 60’s pickup trucks, thanks for sharing. ??
  20. Weathered superbly, particularly the tyres, but all round a great Land Cruiser. ??
  21. Beautiful pastel blue and white looks great on this truck. A really neat, tidy build. ??
  22. That’s a really nice and clean looking F-100 Michelle, nice work. ??
  23. Beautiful looking truck. The sawn logs are a nice touch. These are my favourite model of Chevy pickup. Thanks for sharing. ??
  24. No need for a clear coat on that paint job! this is looking really good so far. Can’t wait to see the finished product .
  25. With big wheels, you’ve got to put something behind them in regards to brakes. I fully intended to scratch build some rotors and calipers from kit wheel backs but stumbled across these Pegasus ready to go items on a recent internet search, so unfortunately laziness took over and here they are painted and glued in place.
