This far, another awesome day, no sun and snowing, but we did Snowmobile practical this morning, and that was loads of fun. Test drove four different sleds multiple times, just haven’ a blast. The track was a figure 8 but there were nasty bumps in certain areas but it made the rounds more fun. The college has like a bush area for our program so in the middle of the bush there was an open field and that was where the track was.

Today was an exceptional day, my day off from school is every Tuesday, sun was out all 3 times so far, but today was a little bit different. Saw the strangest rainbow this morning, straight up and down, and in the centre was almost another sun but less bright. Afternoon went in the bush as there is a gully back there and sled down it for half an hour. Busy day tomorrow though, but today was one of those good days.

Yeah I was gonna say, it seems like back in the day dudes worked on cars like it was goin' outta style (which with new cars it kinda did). Like they did it to soup it up and make the car run faster, i.e. drag racing, or even just customizing for the street machine scene. Nothing like that today except for the VW golfs around here with the pop can exhaust. Even hot rods for example, no one hops up their grandma's 2007 Kia Spectra like they would a '31 Ford back in the day. For instance, my other Great uncle's '31. Not his anymore but still here. Built in '60-'62, sold in '65, dormant in garage since '70, brought out over ten years ago, kept original and still shows what kids did back in the day. Kinda hard to do stuff like that with the newer cars, because of how mechanically complex every single car is today.

Another check in the the box for classic cars; Simplicity. Cars today are too complicated.

I should also add another 1973 hit, Hocus Pocus, by the band, Focus. Mostly instrumental except for the obscure yodeling and other human sounds, but in that sense the human voice is used instrumentally, i.e. no words, just sounds. Pretty crazy yodeling though.

Heard one on the radio the other day, Frankenstein by the Edgar Winter Group, 1973, I believe. The part near the end blew my actual mind with those electric sounds as the way they came through the speakers of the truck was crazy; unlike anything i've ever heard before, around 3:18 it starts, sounds kinda like some space ship thing. The sax part is pretty groovy too.

Sounds like you have quite the collection; I hope to have a bunch one day, too. If you would like to share the rest of your cars, feel free to do so; we'd love to see them. I have a list of cars I want also, started with a 1959 Cadillac, added a 1960 Plymouth, and now there's at least 20 or so I should want to find.

Seats in cars back then were cool; like bench seat for example, no new cars have them but they're pretty convenient for sitting three in a row.

The new Chodge Darger; I mean, Dodge Charger (1970 commercial joke). They actually look pretty cool, especially since a 2 door is now an option, also the Fratzog logo has returned so that’s so cool. Visible on this car in the centre rims and should be in centre grille and rear

Won’t be having it today, but foreseeing lunch tomorrow, my grandma’s homemade pizza. She insists on making a large pan about the size of half a coffee table, so I have about 3 times within 2 weeks. It’s good stuff

Went to hobby lobby in soo Michigan today and same thing, the same kits that have been there for like 5 years. Mind you there are lots but nothing new. The way I see it, privately owned hobby shops always seem to have the latest kits and sometimes vintage ones too, as well as all the good assortment of paints, glue and brushes and other good stuff
