  1. That’s a cool photo you took there; that must be neat to go camping around in a classic truck. I hope to do something similar in the farther future; drive up the Ontario Parks in a classic car or station wagon.
  2. Real cool; I just completed the kit myself but went for a mild custom appearence...
  3. Made the best of an "I actually shouldn't have bought this" kit. Paid $31 American which was more expensive via the Canadian exchange rate, and there wasn't even an engine to go under the hood. But it turned out pretty nice.
  4. Really like this; coincidentally, I painted my '61 Galaxie model the same colour scheme.
  5. Just did the silver trim on my 1961 Galaxie "Sho Gal" show car. Not going to reveal too much as next you see it will be on the Model Cars Under Glass section.
  6. As long as this is the "Official Coleman Camping Gear Thread" here is a couple of vintage Colemans; my grandfather's 1965 Coleman Lantern, and his 1971 Coleman Catalynic Heater. The lantern runs on acetyline, and there's still some old stuff left. Last turned on in 2020, but it was pretty sketchy. Not sure when the heater was last used.
  7. That’s a good one. Thanks for adding it ?
  8. Up and early this morning before eight I was driving to college first day and sighted a 1964 Chevelle. Seen it before; a photo of it should be on the car spotters thread in 1:1 reference cars if you wish to see it.
  9. Fact: I am currently working on 1961 Galaxie model kit; you’ll see it on the forum by the end of the week if all goes according to plan.
  10. Really like that Lincoln, and the Caddy's neat. How much for it did you look closer at it?
  11. I really like this; very unique. I like Malaise Era cars.
  12. That's cool. My grandfather left his old red 1965 Coleman Lantern with us. I'll get some photos on here...
  13. Went to the first day of College orientation today. Was actually real nice. My friend is in the same program so it'll be nice. Big school so I may or may not get lost tomorrow but thus far I like the way things are headin'.
  14. Some nice cars'n'trucks; thanks for adding them. ?I've gotta visit an old junkyard someday; nothing like it up here. Mainly just the odd bunch in the bush, so it must be nice to see rows of cars that are more complete.
  15. That’s so cool; the amount of detail is incredible; I particularly like how you made the exhaust system a little rusty. Just adds to the overall coolness of your build. Right on ?
  16. Really like the ‘64 Comet and the ‘68 Cougar as well as the Rambler Rogue and the ‘70 Roadrunner.
  17. Instigator: an Alligator that appears instantly.
  18. On Saturday we went up North the highway, where all the nice beaches are and stuff, and on roadside there’s so much trash littered from those who pull off the side to go to the beaches. Not really enforced and there’s really no reason to litter anyway. Just sad. ?
  19. Very carefully with a small brush! ?
  20. Proof is in the pudding; whatever that means
  21. I've got a Chevrolet Inline Six, but it's a '60. Looks like one too. Built thisun a while back; one of the very few 6 Cylinder models I have. The colour shows up really light for some reason but it's darker and more appealing in person, believe me. One of my favourite truck models I've built.
