Saw a lotta cars on our trip to Traverse City, but I was only able to photograph this '73 Cougar in the Grand Traverse Mall parking lot last night. -
I was a little skeptical about how the nose would fit, especially after cutting the fenders to put the extentions on, but I was surprised about how it went on. The fact that putting the nose on the one you tried to build almost put you off the hobby is crazy. I know this kit is fairly new; part of AMT's auto stamp series as it came in the tin box, so maybe they re-assesed how the nose fits, 'cause I really had no trouble with it. ?

Lifetime, for me, has spanned 18 years thus far today; last night went to sleep a child, woke up a man.

What Did You See In Your Yard Today?
Falcon Ranchero replied to Tim W. SoCal's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
they look like Nice thanksgiving decorations; anamatronic turkeys that are programmed to walk around the yard -
Finally completed last night. My build table was occupied by school work for a bunch of weeks but this past weekend I had finished that so I could finally focus on my Daytona kit. Not a bad one to build, but my only caution would be to trim the bottom of the windshield as it will hit the dash otherwise and the body of the car will keep popping out. The silver paint job is a little more aggressive than I had anticipated, but a coat of clearcoat kinda calmed it down. Next up is a '66 Chevelle-not sure when that'll happen.

From the Soo Ont. Not much of a model car scene up here especially since the local Michaels stopped carrying kits and paint. Been having to go to the Soo Mich. for kits 'n' paint.

Picked up an early 80s Sears Free Spirit the other day at the Re-Store. Must've been sittin' outside for a long time as the chrome was all rusty. This week is our "reading week" at the college and so that means we get the week off so I've been chrome polishing the bike and just tryina get it lookin' noice again. This is bike number 4 of the vintage bikes I own along with a circa 1971 Skyline 3-speed banana seat bike, my personal 1986 Supercycle Commuter 6 speed and my grandma's hand me down 1978 Supercycle Debutante.

Some are pretty hideous, like the 11th one down from the hot pot ai cars was supposed to be an Edsel, but It came out looking absouletly atrocious. But they're nothing short of interesting -
