Yes it is in pretty nice shape, however the rocker on the other side was a little nasty with rust, but otherwise very well preserved. Next time I see it I'll check for a dealer badge or sticker on the trunk to see where it came from. -

Got the first ten bugs pinned for the assignment I mentioned in a previous post; my friend is supposed to do the other ten as this is a group assignment. That pine beetle (top farthest left) was actually found over 5 years ago; had it in a small clear case but I figured it would be nice in a collection. The next four plus the earwig (second row farthest left) and the beetle (middle second row) were found on campus, but the assassin bug, butterfly and dragonfly were in the yard. -

Saw what me and my dad like to call "The Matlock Special" out in the College parking lot yesterday. Looks to be a 1990-91 Crown Vic -
JoHan kits, in general, are extremely rare and as such, are usually extremely pricey to buy; especially when in mint condition. If it were me who found those, I would be tickled pink to have such a find, and would most likely add detail to them; essentially make the cars look more authentic, though I know some collectors would be shocked at that as they usually want them for their un-touched originallity. But to sell, I would imagine you have quite a fortune in your hands. Lucky. P.S. If you do keep them, they would make for an awesome diorama of a vintage Cadillac Dealership

My least favourite bugs are wasps, in fact I hate them. Got stung once and that did it for me, but my mom was stung 10 times by 7 wasps. Not to mention they like to make their nests in the ground on the lawn so when I go over it with the riding mower they all shoot up from there and become pissed as well as the ones that insist on making nests under my grandma’s garage roof overhang, which is wood so they like it there and get angry when I go in the garage or walk past it. Just awful little ? -

That's a neat Katydid; like how it looks like a leaf. One of our assignments for the College program right now is collecting "Terrestrial Insects" to pin down like those collections; you know how they do butterflies pinned in a picture frame; that kinda thing. Would've loved to add that Katydid to the collection. -

Winter driving has drifted off of the list now, so no worries about the Nova rusting further. -

That may be the reality; but all summer long I was searchin' for classics every single day, checking Kijiji (our Canadian selling website) as well as Marketplace and the cars you see go for sale are crazy; some real nice notable cars worth a look and the money; great deals, but 90% of those cars were too far away for us right now. In terms of getting a modern vehicle, my dad is going to sell me his truck because he'd like to get a newer one, so I'll have a modern vehicle eventually. I guess my heart was dead set on having a classic car; kinda influenced by things and people around me, like my friend's brother who's younger than us, bought a 1969 Newport; big green four door for $4000 and he only has a beginner's lisence. But I'll see what happens... -

So the Lincoln’s ad is no longer a thing, which means it sold so is no longer an option. Just as well because I liked the Nova better anyway. Funny thing, I had a hunch of where it lived based on sightings of it in past years (yes, I was aware of the Nova’s existence before the sale ad) and so we went looking for it and sure enough it was out on the front of a driveway. No one was home, but looking at it, there are some rusty spots and bubbles just around the wheel wells that weren’t visible in those photos. Most notably, there’s a pretty rough spot on the back driver’s side wheel well; may not be surface rust. I still like the thing, but $6,800 seems a little steep now that I seen these imperfections. There was a 66 Galaxie earlier in the year that had no such imperfections and was $6,500, but sold before I could even wrap my head around it. At least $5000 is the Nova’s worth. -

Unfortunately had to be "chauffered" to school this morning, but that also meant my hands were free to handle a camera. Got a white LeBaron convertible around 7:30 this morning. Nothin' special. -
