What did you see on the road today?

Though I didn't see it on the road today, this Javelin was heading home from the St. Ignace car show back in early July. A nice action shot. -

Some muscle cars out early this morning; a silver early 70s Firebird that didn’t have the rear spoiler, and a pink 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger with a flat black hood. No pics unfortunately ? -

I only know of 2 third gen 'Birds in town, some grey one, and a '61 I see basically daily as it lives in the next subdivision over from our 'hood. Always left outside tryina sell for $15,000; but was left in the snow out on his front lawn for two years, and in 2021 got a flame job- it looked way cool just black.

Some Meteors in town; 1954 Niagara, 1955, and 1958 (one of the most swingin' four-door 50s cars I've ever seen; nice set of Cragars). Have yet to see a Monarch though.

Not entirely sure, but I know in 1970 the Beaumont/Acadian lines were pulled because the GTO/LeMans were beginning production in Canada, so I believe they were not available in Canada at the same time as the Beaumont.

Here's a really interesting package for the 1967 Beaumont, the "Cheetah" of which on 10 were built. Very similar to a Yenko Chevelle. I actually first heard of the Beaumont Cheetah in a September 2020 issue of CarToons Magazine and it turns out it is a real car. 1967 Pontiac Beaumont-Canadian Cars Got 427 Conversions Too (motortrend.com)

I was totally thinking the same thing; when I inherit the set it will definitely become my new model car building table. -
They are definitely interesting cars as they have a split Pontiac style grille, and Pontiac interior. Also sold out of Pontiac dealers in Canada. But the Beaumont is a Chevy Chevelle, and the Acadian is a Nova. Just fun facelifts and different badging.

Similar thing goin’ on with the neighbours at my grandma’s house. Definitely not as bad compared to your story, but usually they just blare music really loud pretty frequently throughout the day and apparently night. They have garbage littered around the side of their garage which is thankfully guarded by a row of tall pine trees on our side of the property. A little earlier in the month the police were there doing a full scale investigation as the people are part of some missing person conspiracy. Also there are like five cats that they just let run and so they were using the open shed as a litter box since the base is just gravel so I had to basically rebuild the shack with doors and now it is an impenetrable fortress. But still the music plays but it’s one of those gadgets with a loud bass, so from in her house it’s like a booming sound and gets annoying. My grandma doesn’t want to do anything because they actually saved her house from burning down last year. But that was the only good about them.
