Really like this build; the colour’s real nice. Always like the lowered rear. Funny, you built this 2 months before I was even born LOL

Got a whole bunch of “homework” done; a 27 question reflection on what and how our future in the particular industry will be like, a peer editing activity, and about one third of some taxonomy report about 8 random plants. Pretty riveting stuff, but got 2/3 done and may plan on doing a math assignment I have yet to complete, after supper. Today has been raining heavily so I was able to tolerate the work. At least next week is gorgeous and I’ll be out at the “ Fall Field Camp” so I can get away from all the desk krap for a while.

What did you see on the road today?

Went to Soo Michigan this morning, but ahead of us, two local classics had the same idea. Not sure if there was a car show somewhere or what that they were heading to, but they were nice to see. The '63 Fairlane is actually for sale; $26,500 I believe, and it is a standard tranny. The white '66 Chevelle kinda influenced a model car buy at Hobby Lobby, and since today was 40%, I now have the AMT 66 Chevelle kit. Not going to build it like that car though. -

Yes it is in pretty nice shape, however the rocker on the other side was a little nasty with rust, but otherwise very well preserved. Next time I see it I'll check for a dealer badge or sticker on the trunk to see where it came from. -
What Did You See In Your Yard Today?
Falcon Ranchero replied to Tim W. SoCal's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Got the first ten bugs pinned for the assignment I mentioned in a previous post; my friend is supposed to do the other ten as this is a group assignment. That pine beetle (top farthest left) was actually found over 5 years ago; had it in a small clear case but I figured it would be nice in a collection. The next four plus the earwig (second row farthest left) and the beetle (middle second row) were found on campus, but the assassin bug, butterfly and dragonfly were in the yard. -

Saw what me and my dad like to call "The Matlock Special" out in the College parking lot yesterday. Looks to be a 1990-91 Crown Vic -
JoHan kits, in general, are extremely rare and as such, are usually extremely pricey to buy; especially when in mint condition. If it were me who found those, I would be tickled pink to have such a find, and would most likely add detail to them; essentially make the cars look more authentic, though I know some collectors would be shocked at that as they usually want them for their un-touched originallity. But to sell, I would imagine you have quite a fortune in your hands. Lucky. P.S. If you do keep them, they would make for an awesome diorama of a vintage Cadillac Dealership
