Look's pretty good. Most of these are black, blue, red or yellow. This'll stand out.👍

I picked this up as a glue bomb.Has anyone here tried swapping the chassis on this kit. I'm thinking the Revell coronet MIGHT work, haven't tried anything yet. Still stripping the paint. Any suggestions, and I know the Revell kit is the nicer one, for 4 dollars I'm not gonna complain. Thanks

Maybe this could help. Bernard Kron's post was the one that I recalled seeing. Lots of good ideas here.

Smart thinking. Normally I wouldn't run from much in this world, but I'll make an exception for yogi. Downhill. (I know you shouldn't run from them).

Activated charcoal works well, I've used that in vehicles I've bought. You can get it in small mesh bags. You could also try ozium spray, but that shouldn't be breathed in according to the instructions. Put them in a large tote, spray and seal overnight. Then open them outside and let it air out. I use it in my truck when I detail it, it's available almost everywhere.

Atlantis 57 Chevy Nomad... Nothing to lose

Looking good. I'm not super familiar with quirks kit to kit, what exactly makes this particularly un-buildable. Poor fitments? -
True statement. My wife has built a few and she enjoys it, but her primary hobby is crafting and sewing. I remember her saying she felt intimidated when starting her first one, now she's built up a small stash of her own, mostly vehicles her grandparents and father had. I think the emotional connection there is why she builds them.

Great looking buick. Very nice work all throughout.

I second this. I'm secluded from the rest of the road I live on, it's piece of mind for me. The truck got a dash cam after that mess last summer, just in case.

Last day at the car show, kind of a rain out event. Grabbed two more kits, the Lindbergh 442 and revell aar Cuda. The green one. My wife and I drove down the road and stopped in the village of Rhinebeck, grabbed lunch and visited Samuel's sweet shop. My wife was hoping to see Paul Rudd or Jeffery Dean Morgan, they own the place. No luck for her. Even with the weather it was a pretty good day.

I went through the same thing last August, hopefully you have the damages repaired and they get the full extent of what's coming to them.

Today was a great day. Found one of MY must have kits, a 68 roadrunner. Picked up a monogram 39 chevy delivery and a 5 window tall T and a couple glue bomb/rebuilders to try something new. Best part of the day was when bought the 39 and 68, the seller threw in a 57 Fairlane for free. Absolutely awesome guy.

My building style is all over the map, so to speak. From box stock to chopped up rusted out and beyond. I enjoy the challenge of working at such a small scale, and am amazed at level of quality or accuracy some of the builders here can obtain. For me, every build is an opportunity to improve my skills and learn something new.

Couple cool cars while I was leaving the swap meet, this barracuda was awesome. The Bonneville clicked all the boxes for me. -
Welcome to the forum, great looking '32 you've built.

Day one of the swap meet completed, scored a couple of kits at a good price. Also picked up a sweet little starrett combination square for 2 bucks. Among other things. Still have one day for the place to fill up, and the show car's are starting to roll in. Today was relaxing.

I've had the stator go bad on a ride- on, there was a diode in there that was causing problems, and I've learned the ignition switches aren't the greatest. I also bypass the seat switches on mine.

Great looking interior. Very clean work with the dash.
