  1. Thank you, very much appreciated.
  2. Great work so far, ain't engine swaps fun! Nice job with the rear suspension, I did similar on my 34.
  3. Finished with the corvettes chassis. Added some washes and touched up a few places. my engine parts came in, so back on the 34. This is a fun filler project.
  4. My wife claimed the Ranchero, I remember building that one as a kid. It's open, but complete and for 5 bucks I'm not complaining.
  5. Great looking pontiac. Nice clean engine compartment. πŸ‘Œ
  6. Fantastic interior and all around awesome build. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  7. This looks fantastic. Great looking engine, and an awesome MK1 build.
  8. Looking good, hopefully the paint plays nice this time for you. Very cool build, I always like the look of these old racecars.
  9. Both Iceman collections and Texas 3d have flatheads if you want to go that route.
  10. That is one clean engine bay. Stunning work, sir. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  11. You don't want anything that will attack the foam, maybe a "low tack" spray adhesive?
  12. Thank you. These one piece chassis are tricky to detail. It needs some touch ups here and there.
  13. Harley decided to pay me a visit at the bench, I think he just wanted my coffee
  14. Looking good. Nice decision on the wheels.
  15. That's what I found. Good tip on the tailights.
  16. Great tip, I'm actually using something from that aisle as suspension parts on my 34. Over in the sewing section they have pins with colored balls on them, similar size and a bit cheaper.
  17. Got as far as I could on the rear suspension without the engine here, want to make sure nothing is gonna interfere with one another. Kinda at a stop till it shows up. Finished up all the brackets, tricky little things to build and not have fly across the room. Made the links for the rear end, nothing spectacular, still have to find some pins that'll look good to attach them and figureout the final length. Thanks for checking this out
  18. This may be unrelated, I've seen certain early/mid 2000 ford vehicles have loose bolts under the column that interfere with the neutral safety switch, and proper gear selection. If the park, neutral, drive ect. Isn't lined up, kinda halfway in-between park and neutral, it's a sure bet the two torx bolts are loose. Just something to check for, not sure if your vehicle has that common issue.
  19. That's one slick paint job. Very impressive. I was scrolling through on break, gotta learn to slow down and thoroughly read things. Absolutely beautiful work.πŸ‘πŸ‘
  20. That paint polished out beautifully. Nice workπŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. I was curious and looked this up. Seems like there is an electronic interlock, no mention of an emergency manual option from what I've read. Lots of talk about blown fuses and it being powered off the brake light circuit. Try charging it as are and give it a shot.
  22. Yup, and why there wouldn't be a non- powered emergency option is beyond me.
