  1. Must be the typical business model for these kind of places. The one I lived in has been sold twice in the 9 years since I've left. I heard all the same things you mentioned.
  2. You're hitting on why I bought my house. My old apartment was a quiet decent place to live, 8-9years in the property was sold, all manor mess followed. Arguing, police presence ect. Wasn't long after I made my decision.
  3. Great looking tow truck, I like the use of non kit parts to get what you needed.
  4. I'm always a fan of day two versions. Gives them some personality. These are one of my favorite styled trucks from that era.
  5. Welcome to the forum Ryan
  6. Beautiful, clean 34. Very eye catching. 👍👍
  7. That looks mean. My vote goes to the hilborn
  8. Yes,and I've always heard gmc was a bit better quality wise. My personal gmc looks better than the same year/generation silverado.
  9. I get a ton of typical garter and milk snakes around my property, some get pretty big. They don't bother me,I feel they're doing me a favor keeping the mice at bay. My dog harley pays them no mind, we don't know know about Harper yet, she's a "city dog".
  10. Great looking build, I prefer GMC's over chevrolet. Tough looking truck.
  11. Good to know, thanks Michelle. This one is pretty ratty where it was once attached to the body, and I'm not a huge fan of the engine detail and axle through the oil pan. I like the Revell and amt mopar chassis, I've got a multiples of those.
  12. That's what I've gathered. From looking at the car vs what I've seen online, it's not the original release, they were molded in white. This is just my character speaking, honesty and all.
  13. Good to know. I've been doing a bit of investigating, I don't believe this to be The original release kit, from what ive gathered on scalemates. I'm starting to think it's a later 70's or 80's release. I'm ignorant to a lot of kit history, and was going off of the seller's information,so forgive my mistake. I'm going to amend the title.
  14. Absolutely 💯 %. I'm far too bull headed to put up with that kinda thing, and as I get older, I don't have the energy for it. I'm grateful my wife isn't that way.
  15. I'm sure "b-body" chassis are all similar, I've got a few to try and fit up. The glue bomb is currently soaking, things are looking good for saving. The glass might be an issue.
  16. Beautiful build. It looks absolutely gorgeous 👍.
  17. Cool build Pat. I like what you did with the roof, nice save with that.
  18. I'll "second" what Bill said above. What you have is what I call an "honest car". Provable history and hiding no "sins".
  19. Could have used this advice 20-odd years ago.
  20. Thanks for the info. Sounds like atlantis left some steps out of the instructions.
  21. I don't have one available. I've only come across the Revell kit one time, I should have snatched it up. I know the 66 was basically a coronet "fastback", so in my mind the chassis should be close.
  22. Great work Michelle 👍. That metallic looks awesome. Great choice with the wheel color.
