  1. I like the look of their sleeves, assuming you can slide the standard 23" wheel in there: https://www.hobbylinc.com/pegasus-23-sleeves-wheels-aluminum:tires-4-plastic-model-tire-wheel-1:24-scale-2398
  2. Man, that body was ROUGH. The trunk opening looks like someone drunk drew the lines Good salvage work!
  3. Can your buddy call the MTA next and get the trains working?
  4. The Red Baron has a massive chrome gas tank hanging off the back of the chassis, and the Rommel's Rod has a big gas tank on the front ?
  5. Just won this on eBay - we're planning an informal Rommel's Rod build off on the Coffin Corner when the reissue comes out, but I wanted an original one too...this looked in decent shape:
  6. This is wonderful advice JC! Always worth hearing
  7. This is really cool Pat - I came here to see if they did a model of these...turns out they did! Yours looks great buddy!
  8. Exciting!!! Thanks buddy!
  9. Haha, Brett knows the trade secrets! Any update on the ETA of the Rommel's Rod at all Brett?
  10. Ohhhh, you have REAL ones? Nice!!!! I'm envious! These aren't on sale quite yet, I don't think - but Mike (3d Scale Parts) is talking about having them resin cast shortly
  11. Got some cool 3d printed showrod tires from 3d Scale Parts: They're a replica of the old Richard Carroll tires from the 60s - really excited to have a set of these!
  12. I'm sorry, couldn't resist
  13. This is KILLER! Jealous that you got the sparkly red Flameout kit too - they're the rare ones!
  14. I liked your first book so much I have two copies! Congrats Tim! Their book on Showrods is great, so I'll definitely pick this up. I'm actually more of a hot rod guy, honestly, but if you don't show publishers that there's interest in model related titles you wont get any more, so...
  15. I've been using a borrowed McDonalds tray for the past four years, so an actual bench will be a real luxury! Space is kind of at a premium in NYC - I cant build anything that takes up more room than a Big Mac and Fries
  16. My fiancee and I signed the lease on our first apartment together! Planning a wedding early next year, and found a nice place in Brooklyn with room enough for a modelling bench at least
  17. Ahhh, I see! That figures! Thanks John! Can't wait to see more!
  18. Absolutely amazing John! You're one of my favorite builders, incredible scratchbuilding ability! I may have missed it, but what's the notch cut out of the driver's seat for?
  19. Ohhhhh, this is cool! I'll be watching!!
  20. What's the plan, Bob?
  21. Ohhhhh, got any pics? I'd LOVE to see that!
  22. Me too! I'd LOVE one of these at sensible prices! I wonder if the tooling still exists?
  23. Interesting! I didn't know all the history behind the Revell UFO - thanks again Brett!
