  1. a fake tire wouldn't pass. not even on a mustang lx with a crappy roof line and floating alternator
  2. what are you the traffic cop?4 truck builders that happen to be members of the same forum you are chimed in and your telling every one to move along. I guess if someone doesn't agree or would like to see something different doesn't get to voice an opinion in your world. just saying
  3. I 've read this with great interest because my main building preference is the so called boring truck/equipment segment .All you car guys think we're mental for suggesting something new.Almost all truck kits have been reissued so the demand is there. Art said something about only 3% of the population living on farms, but I bet 95% have heard of john deere ,cat, peterbilt or mack. The big kit makers should take a chance like Mobius did and give us something new.You car builders commenting here keep getting 32 ford's,57 chevey's and 69 camaro's shoved down your throats, but claim to know what the model world needs.Try a truck kit with 300 parts over your cars with 60 you may like the challenge and one truck can be built a 10000 different ways to keep the rivet counters talking and mpc made one also,a trailer
  4. nice seeing an Ontario spec truck
  5. great pictures, thanks for the update
  6. 235 was a typical west wheelbase.A lot of these old log trucks used mack rear suspension and differentials as replacements within a few years
  7. No sense in worrying about how the factory did it with the cab you want to use.A ford chassis has huge beams, taller than a titan, but would give you the compact cat 3208.I think go with the titan, for the suspension, the best spoke wheels in kits, and the 8 cut down to a V6 should fit under the hood. The titan comes with spare parts that you could get some interesting building choices,it's custom so any thing goes. I'm with Richard about using a 2 ton opal for a chassis closer to stock .
  8. payhauler is a V16. I made a 12 by cutting the front and rear cylinder banks off 2 8's and gluing them together. If my parts box allows I make stuff to save money for kits, parts or decals.
  9. don't forget the wider grill if you want to up date the amt cab. A totally new grill with shape much like a W900b would have to be done with "new" headlight panel
  10. ertl didn't design the macks, mpc did.Well ertl did design the pos rubber duck kit Id love a titan kit
  11. was it ripped? LOL
  12. I loved the original speed vision.with the old road and track tests and vintage nascar racing.Something about watching an old matador going around the skid pad I guess well have to see what its going to be like.Only if they would get rid of those waltrips
  13. what about the Farris Buellar Ferrari.Im with the a kit car is not a modle.Either are wrought iron or wooden porches.
  14. .leave this doom and gloom to the news
  15. I have ,still don't know what your point is.

  19. these ads work.In a week I'll have a new career, be out of debt, have a better credit card, and have 6 new tank model kits
  20. does burger king tell mcdonalds its business ?
  21. I said that to stir the pot.Boy did it work. I mentioned a few times that if the ads must be here, then so be it. In the future I will reframe from these types of comments .The problem with keyboards is you cant type tone or sarcasm.
