  1. Mas Cerveza's and then bidding $150 on a glue bomb, then realizing the next morning "what in the double hockey sticks did I do?" Actually it happened again this week. Bid $50 on a vintage Blue Beetle that is not all that nice.
  2. I'd love to travel to Japan and bask in the Aoshima-Fujimi-Tamiya goodliness!
  3. Dude, and I hate the word "dude" Youre a freakin artist!
  4. Good grief Blair, have you cked out TRaK?
  5. I want that kit!
  6. Funny meetin' ya overhere Jr. Dig that diorama, but you know That track was huge in full scale, 220 ft.
  7. $300 isnt that bad if it is something I really really want. Heck, I dropped a buck and a half on a built resin Hairy Canary A/FX last year because I saw it run at Fremont in 66, and the son of the guy who built the 1:1 built the model. It is the crown jewell in my collection. Now if we could get Jeff Allison's artwork printed. Think I should show this to Steve Scott. He wants a new tool Uncertain-T in styrere, but I think this is the only viable method.
  8. Ah, John, the older and computer illerate Thx now I feel better!
  9. I tried to send Steve your pics, even when I downloaded them I couldnt. If youre computer savvy, do you know what I need to do? I have plenty of pics on my computer that I can send to FB, but even tho I saved yours, it didnt work. Have ya gotten a shirt yet? I wear mine every day. Think I forgot to send the link to his site http://www.SteveScottsUncertain-T.net/main.html
  10. Well now, thats another winner. I dig that you left the roof intact, and chose gold over primer. Love the engine and headers, creative work on the rear wheels!

    STP Turbine

Nice work, sure looks better than the MPC version!
  12. Bllown away
  13. The slappers, and the rear wheels and tires make it look just like its ready for a night grudge racing at Fremont Raceway!
  14. Very very nice. I dig that its sorta semi-gloss, and not flat. The wide whites and black steelies add to the look. Way to go!
  15. Actually the Moon Scope was readily available in the 60's-70's. Ira Dahm did a series in Car Model Mag entitled "Variations on a Moon Scope" Here are thee.
  16. I dont think the 1960 Fords were promos. They had a few custom parts and decals. If a true promo, it would not have these options. That being said, the Nash metroplitan was a promo, although a kit. Nothing but stock stuff in there. But isnt a promo really an already assembled model, not a kit? Tried to post the pic, said "im not allowed" so just google Hubley 1960 Ford Country Sedan. Its a "4-way" customizing kit.
  17. Tell ya what, Ill sell ya all my glue bombs for $50 each, plus shipping
  18. Don, thats hilarious!
  19. Excellent work! I dig that engine, and it has just the right stance!
  20. Excellent one there, goes to show rat doesn't have to be synonymous with lousy workmanship! And the diorama is great too!
  21. Dang Pete I'd love that dragster!
  22. Wonder why The Parts Box gets away with copies of the Revell 32 Ford axles and the L'il Coffin wheels and tires. Maybe because there in Oz?
  23. Dang thats nice. I love it, great stance, and great work on the roofrack. The engine should have some Kadrons and a stinger though!
  24. I was working on an ancient AMT 32 Ford coupe. All the way through mockup, and test fitting after paint, all was well. When I polished and decaled the body, all of a sudden the cowl was almost 1/8 inch too high. Grrrrrrrrr!
