  1. Thats really great. Side view looks perfect!
  2. Great job on those doors!
  3. Pertty funny, and great rebuild.
  4. Looking good Lorenzo!
  5. How about a variation on this theme?
  6. Outstanding! How did you get the look of bare metal on the lower body?
  7. Yeah Harry, she does! Its just that she looks as much like Lisa Douglas as Alec Baldwin looks like Mr. Douglas.
  8. Here are 3 views of a Revell 34. Note how the splash aprons form a transition from the frame rails to the hood sides. I checked the AMT 34 instructions and it includes these parts plus a radiator splash apron that would make the front end look more finished.
  9. And instead of that neat Lincoln convertible, Mr. Douglas will drive a Prius, and Haney will have a Zap XL. ( google it ) Arianna Huffington? Good grief, thats a case of bad casting!
  10. Insane skills Rickard!
  11. Good lord what hate. If ya wanna build a perfect period gasser, ya need to bash a bunch of parts. If ya want a super huge fun project for the weekend, this is it! I got carried away circa 1970, built it out of box, with a bunch of detail. Even kept the red windows. I was rewarded with first place in a King Norman's contest. Still after all the years, this might have been the most fun ever.
  12. Eye Candy, mmm, so sweet!
  13. Very nice! So, how did you line up the wheels properly? My version leaves the rear tires scraping the fenders..................
  14. I think its a great idea. Wonder if the rules in the 60's-70's that made the VW formidable would apply to a Rotary?
  15. Well Chris, I wasnt too sold on that angle chop. Your great finish kept me intrigued. Now that I see the overall idea, I really dig it! Keep like it is, dont change anything!
  16. Hey guys, come on over to the Model Parts Trivia section. It's a whole lot of fun and it tests our knowledge of kits! We separate those who have been there from those who wish. Plus, for those of us with ADD or whom are obsessive compulsive, it is a treat!
  17. Nice chassis! Be careful using evergreen for the axle. I did that and after about 6 months the weight of the car caused it to bend so it looked knock-kneed. I solved that by drilling a tiny hole in the crossmember and inserting a straight pin to keep the weight off the tires.
  18. Outstanding, especially considering its 1/32!
  19. That is soo cool! I dig the rims and those low profile tires.
  20. Thats some impressive paint work!
  21. I dig it! The stance, and the wheels and tires are perfect for it, and the weathering is great!
  22. Interesting........Having had a waterbed for over 30 years, patching was a common thing. I always thought the glue smelled like the glue for repairing bicycle tubes. Im gonna go see if i still have a patch kit!
  23. Very very nice! Great to see it completed!
  24. Some impressive bodywork!
