  1. thats real all day. i had a 73 mach
  2. In the chassis w/ the body.
  3. The beginning of final assembly on the motor. I used the long block from the 57 sportsman kit with scratched intake, turbos and exhaust. still need to add fuel injection, oil lines , belts and pulleys and wiring for the electronics
  4. depends on how fast you want it to set up. 91 percent evaporates faster than 70 because of the higher alcohol content. its like using a hotter reducer with lacquer. the faster drying the paint is, the higher chance of paint issues. the faster it dries the less time it has to flow or self level. hope this helped, im not fully awake yet.
  5. one piece would be best.
  6. Have We decided Who's doing what and when, yet?
  7. Thats a great idea Derrick! i also have the 36ft. goose neck that i want to build up on the inside, but didnt want it to be all hidden when it is finished.
  8. Thanks for the close ups, but i think you may have the tread facing the wrong direction??
  9. That was my first thought too, scale u-haul. I might need to get one of these.
  10. Great start! Close ups of the wheel and tire combo please.
  11. but the spot putty WILL shrink and show through the paint over time. any 2 part filler will work. bondo tends to be harder to work with the longer it cures. i would recommend evercoat metal glaze found at most paint supply shops, bondo also makes a 2 part glazing putty comes in 2 tubes on a card and like the evercoat is extremely easy to work with after any period of time.
  12. whats up with the page scrolling right to left? impossible to read?
  13. pumps for a/c work need to pull at least 20-30 inches of water, but the seem to take awhile to get there. i would think you would need to pull pretty quick because of the speed of resin. i thought resin was done under positive pressure??
  14. Wow, you guys are really giving buba the hose. Suppose his disability is much worse and this is after many years off hard work or perhaps he is deaf? should he have to defend that as well? Treat others as you want to be treated regardless of mental-physical state, disability or not.
  15. What type of paint? Most Enamels will come off with enamel thinner with out harming the glass. If it's a hotter paint (lacquer, etc...) then i would try polishing it off with a polishing kit or super fine rubbing compounds.
  16. great tip! i usually use the smallest bit in the arsenal to pilot drill all of the holes, this also helps with keeping the holes where you want them.(small bit wont "wander") then step up a few drill sizes drill them again then drill to you final size. just remember a .030 bit will cut a .032 hole. thats just the nature of drill bits they all make a bigger than they are hole. (hope that last part made sense. ) or abe, you could send it here and i would/could do it, to help out.
  17. very cool dave, kinda reminds me of home with my dad.
  18. my biggest peeves, there are 2. 1) the line where the molten plastic comes together inside the mold, usually in the middle of the roof. they are almost impossible to paint without showing through. 2)molded in axles and exhausts.
  19. im in. might redo the integra for starts
  20. wow nice wheels! looks like rp is about to make one off parts and some rare kits/parts in resin much easier to get. are these drawn (autocad etc...) then printed to/by the rp machine to make the masters?
  21. sounds cool, but their site states its for latex paint only.
  22. i love the sound of a well built and turboed b16 (honda)@ 7500r's not that i would ever own 1 but just the same.
