  1. Nice work ,and held up well for being 15. you got skills!
  2. Please contact a doctor immediately. You are obviously SICK! neat mod though.
  3. wow that seems to be a great bargain .it's hard to believe that this was never offered as a kit . the upcoming list also looks interesting . I try to stay away from die casts but if it's something that I really like I'll do it . I can't believe the price seems to good to be true .
  4. Welcome aboard feel free to post up some pics there's a tutorial around here some where . just don't ask George 53.
  5. I agree with George and CB ,I want a front 3/4 shot and a rear 3/4 shot. just what engine do ya got in there anyway?looks really nice and it is always really nice to look !
  6. I try to think of it as being feasible but I don't worry about the insides of stuff like the engine or tranmission if it is a trad rod who cares if you have a chevy trans hooked up to a hemi the scale guy who built it figured a way to make it work and he is way way smarter than me. but yeah I like to keep it real . which is why I never finish anything because I can't afford to have all those cars painted .
  7. is the 3x2 intake present or vintage? these newer flatheads get me confused as to what is old and what is current .
  8. Those guys are funny . How did you get them to talk in 1/25th scale? seriously though sweet car I haven't seen that one before . nice job on the figures too.
  9. looks good so far glad you are moving forward and have found time to build what with the new house and all .oh and more pics !
  10. Thanks guys ,I'm just trying to use something out back that I don't usually see on a model T. It's gonna be more custom than drag so no blower just naturally aspirated. I also want a lot of carbs and pipes stickin' out .I think I will use the columbia on this one and think more about the engine .any suggestions as to a kit sourced flat head that is some what unique or just really cool let me know thanks again!
  11. an early Chevy v8 or flat head ? I'm working on a vintage hot rod and just trying to keep everything period correct and feasible.trying to keep it early 60's like 62 or older . I didn't grow up then so I am unsure of what those guys may have done back then but I really like that style of rod. Thanks in advance .
  12. Wow a hall of famer,I concur with Jim. Ebay will probaly yield the best market value . If you don't have an Ebay account see if some one you know has one with good feedback as a new seller sometimes doesn't get as much as an established seller . also it would be great to see pictures of what you found if for no other reason than postertity.seeing mint vintage kits is always really neat.
  13. Gee Whiz that's impressive.
  14. great story and great build let's see how quick the next one goes!
  15. I think you otter not try to impress them gurls and stick wit whacha do best !
  16. I love it ,the whole thing has a great feel to it nice to look at.
  17. Congratulations Kevin . I hope it goes smoothly and try not to spend too much on tools.

looks great so far and I love the etched window !
  20. Bill my kits are all grok fodder. the ones that tend to stay grokked and not built are the ones that are expensive or rare enough that I don't want to screw them up . I bought an opel GT a number of years back before they were repopped but never built it because I wanted to add a lot more detail than was in the original kit .You know like real windows that roll up and down doors that open etc. however my skills aren't where they need to be for my vision so it waits . I guess it is the ones that I can't replace or are too expensive to replace .
  21. Black Death
  22. for the novus products try your local hardware store.
  23. there also a couple of good books concerning figures and modifing them. one by Shepard Paine another from fine scale modeler about shadow box dioramas .so for you potential diorama builders check out some of the books for military figures and even train layouts .the scale maybe different but the techniques are invaluable.
  24. Great job capturing the prototype .for the first time that is an excellent bmf job keep it up !
  25. the japanese model companies hasegawa, fujimi, tamiya have produced sets in the past I don't know if they are currently available but I see them on ebay from time to time. also look for ulrich mini men . there have also been figures included in kits over the years and I believe you can find most of them in resin .verlinden made a few figures in 1/24 including a chp officer.hope this helps sorry for the lack of details perhaps others can fill in the blanks.
