A MACK IS A MACK OF COURSE!
Ben replied to bandit1's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
The only spoke wheels I make are the small 17" three spoke wheels like what are found on the trailer of the Evil Kneivel rig. There are several casters out there that make the bigger 22.5 and 24.5 five and six spoke wheels in 1/25 and 1/24. I'd have to see the wheel your wanting to replicate to steer you in the right direction. -

I'm pretty sure that KW grille set is made by Czech Model. They can be purchased though ModellTruck in Germany. They also make a grille kit to upgrade the GMC Astro and several others. https://ssl3.world4you.com/modelmakershop/index.php?cat=c126_Czech-Truck-Modell.html&page=3&XTCsid=7c4h03e6i2q59jk3bbg6ne4el5 -
I just spoke with Randy a little while ago by phone. Really nice guy. His parts are very nice. There might be a wait on them but they're worth it.

I thought I remembered there being a member here that lives near Randy Frost? I sent Randy an email about a kit and got a reply but now that I've sent my payment through paypal, I can't get ahold of him? I just want to make sure he got the payment as I sent it through Paypal.

Hey Chuck, now you just need the VooDoo Vega with the body molded in metallic black! -
I found out the hard way, I had three boxes all labled and ready to go and after standing in line at the post office for twenty minutes, I got to the counter and was told that I had to redo every label in all caps.

Decal Tray - A Very Handy New Tool
Ben replied to Chillyb1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It appears to work just like a litter box, believe it or not. The slotted tray rests in the solid tray, you fill them with water to where the water covers the slotted tray, place your decal into the slotted tray and after a minute or so, lift the slotted tray out of the solid tray which wil drain away the water. I am assuming that the little "comb" is for lifting decals out of the slotted tray? -

Looks like it would be a lot easier than trying to fish a tiny decal out of a small bowl or cup! -
Bill, another stupid rule I have found that the postal system requires when you send something to Canada is that the entire address of the sender and recipient has to be in all capitol letters. As in: JOHN SMITH, HERE THERE , CANADA.

I almost forgot the one's I'm watching right now! Squidbillies and Aqua Teen Hunger Force! Those two are hilarious but definitely made for adults! -
I really get a kick out of Spongebob! I really liked Rocko's Modern Life when it used to be on! Some of the things they say and do are geared towards adults. I'll be watching with my son and they'll say something that makes me laugh and my son has to ask why I'm laughing! LOL

Hey Gordon, are you working with Gary or is this something your doing for yourself?

My dream garage would consist of my 69 Camaro (out there right now) and a Buick GNX, A Syclone pickup and a Victory red S10 Xtreme. I would say a Lamborghini Countach but being 6'6" tall, I don't think I'd fit! I had to get down on my knees to get into a Pantera!

Gary Wallace sells a resin and styrene kit that comes partially assembled of a half round, modern frameless dump trailer. It runs about 140.00 with shipping.

3D surface decals, rivets, louvers, weld beads, etc.
Ben replied to Ben's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey Mike, don't go by the scales they post, just use the measurements of the rivets themselves to calculate what would be needed for your project. They have several different sizes of rivets that scale out to about a 1/4" or 3/16" rivet head in 1/25 or 1/24 scale. They are a bit pricey but you do get a lot of rivets and it sure beats trying to put them on one by one!!!!!
