  1. You can find 1/25 versions of the Detroit Diesel V12 in the AMT, Tyrone Malone Super Boss and Bandag Bandit kits.
  2. Whoa! What a coincidence! MY birthday is on May 8th!!!!!! I have a great idea! YOU buy me a case of these trailers and I will gladly accept them and giggle like a little girl when i get them!!!!!!!!! Or, better yet, you buy a case of these trailers and send them to me with a card that has ten dollars in it so I can buy some glue and paint!
  3. Not only am I super stoked about this trailer coming out, I'm not buying ANY other truck kits just so I'll have plenty of money to buy lots of THIS kit!!!!!!!! Again, THANK YOU MOEBIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Um, you need to use SpellCheck Leo! It's spelled....G e e B e n, y o u r r i g h t ! H o w d i d y o u g e t s o s m a r t ? LOL, LOL, LOL
  5. Oh I agree, it's not right to look a gift horse in the mouth but in this case, I think Moebius is listening to what modelers want and being that the trailer is not in production yet, I thought that maybe they would like to know what we would like to see as possible options. I'm quite sure that Moebius wants this kit to be as successful as possible and therefor avoid making mistakes like Italeri did. I think Italeri would have sold thousands more of their reefer trailer had they just asked what types of things the builder would like to see in that type of a kit.
  6. I would agree that Alclad would be good to use as well if there were a way to seal it and protect it from fingerprints.
  7. Hey Earl, if the side panels are able to be plated (they might be too big), I'm sure it will either be ChromeTech or The Little MotorKar Co. that would do the plating. I won't know until I can give them the size of the panel. I know ChromeTech has plated the ERTL Great Dane side panels but they are shorter than these new panels. We'll know soon.
  8. Some just live to complain. I sure hope that wasn't directed at me! I am in no way complaining! I am extremely greatful for this kit and I was merely suggesting that having the whole body in chrome would be nice. I'll be plenty happy with it having a chrome front bulkhead and rear doors. I'll just send the sides out to be chromed if I want the whole thing chromed. No big deal.
  9. She'll still be there Chris............you'll see.........
  10. COOL!!!!!!! Nice work Dennis!
  11. If I'm building a really detailed model, I'll perfect everything I can before painting or assembly. If it were just a quick build I probably wouldn't worry about it.
  12. You just might be able to have this in 1/25 very soon! A friend is currently working on a CNC router cut kit of the body and the cab was available in resin and hopefully will be again soon. I bought two of the Dodge crew cab kits when they first came out with this project in mind. Just waiting on the beds and decals!
  13. I treated myself to some limited edition HotWheels, Snake and Mongoose funny car and transporter sets! I received my Snake sets today and I hope to have the Mongoose sets by Friday.
  14. Yes, pleeeeeaaaaasssse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I'm pretty sure JPS is still making all aluminum wheels.
  16. What is ESRD? I have IGA Neophrapathy in my kidneys and I have to watch my phosphorus, sodium and potassium intake as well. I'm not on dialysis and don't know if I will need to be some day. I hope things can somehow get better for your wife and his father in law.
  17. A funny car with working headlights???????? That's not right!
  18. Exactly why I'm wanting it reissued!!!!!!!! I wish someone would sculpt and cast that Goblin face. That and some decals and it's all down hill from there!
  19. It appears that, what they are doing is re-releasing the ex Monogram kit with new decals to "match" the recent funny car release. I'm sure licensing has a lot to do with their choice of decals on this version. I have two of each of the originals so if you would like to see anything in the kit, let me know and I'll post some pics. Both the Snake and the Mongoose kits are exactly the same except for the box art, instruction sheets and decals. The dragsters are very detailed and feature vinyl spark plug wires and injector lines. The tires are single piece vinyl in the front and two piece Goodyear Blue Streak slicks in the rear. (3/4 of a tire with a sidewall plug) Only one set of wheels, chrome plated Centerlines all the way around. The Christmas tree is a nice detailed piece with Chrondek Timers decals (in the original anyway) There's a driver in a fire suit made to be sitting in the seat and a "crew member" that is standing with his hands over his ears as if the dragster were doing a burnout right next to him. These are my most favorite drag kits, not counting the Aurora stuff. and I'm pretty happy that they are reissuing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. So cooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Boy, I bet she sure makes a lot of other women jealous!!!!!! Very pretty indeed! Hope she has a great birthday!!!!!!!!!
  22. Last update. Paypal just refunded my money. Lesson learned!!!!!!! I'll never buy from Perry's resin again!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Have you glued the wheels to the axles yet? Those old MPC kits had axles that were too wide. It really makes a difference if you shorten the axles to narrow the track width. Otherwise the tires stick out a bit too much.
  24. Great video and the cars are VERY nice!!!!!!!!!!
  25. What ever you do, DON'T HONK!!!!! ...............The car horn, I mean, it might spark!
