  1. Oh yeah. Your build is looking good.
  2. Looking good.
  3. Welcome to the forum, Bill. Really good stuff going here all the time. Your Catalina is looking good.
  4. Gonna leave it as a 2 wheel drive. Painted the frame and springs last night.
  5. That Willys has the potential of being a fantastic beast. YEAH!!
  6. Looking very good, Ian. Keep it going.
  7. I finished the bathroom & kitchen remodel so now I can get back to modeling. Here's the evil Spirit Dodge D50 mentioned in another post. Obviously, it's going to be way up in the air. Those are Ma's Resin beautiful Desert Dog tires and beadlock wheels. Wire is temporary - I'll be using pins on final assembly. I've also scratch built shocks - 2 at each corner.
  8. I'm lovin' your project and enjoying the pics, Don. Keep them coming.
  9. A fine looking build. Terrific color. I have 2 waiting in the wings to be built.
  10. Nice job. Looking good.
  11. Gorgeous.
  12. Aha - 440. That is going to be such a cool build. Plan to be finish sanding and painting in the morning. Ceilings. Not plastic.
  13. I like it, Eelco. What engine you putting in it? No wait - make it a surprise. Didn't get the Christmas decorations up, but got the 2 bathrooms done. Me and joint compound don't get along but I might be ready to sand the kitchen in the morning. I was able to get the suspension on the D50, but it hit me last night. I made a straight front axle from Evergreen but didn't make any spindles so the old axle is going in the trash and I'll make a new one that a tad more narrow and make spindles. The joys of scratch building.
  14. Love those Spyders! Did you shoot them with Alclad? The build is looking very good and I look forward to seeing updates.
  15. That's pretty and has great details.
  16. I don't care either way about a digital version as long as IT WILL NOT REPLACE THE PRINTED MAGAZINE! When will #154 be delivered?
  17. Nice way to start, Marcos. Excellent job on the engine & chassis and waiting anxiously for further progress.
  18. Superb looking build, especially the paint and engine detail. What's the source of those wheels?
  19. Will a coat or 2 of Future over the final primer also eliminate ghosting from removing emblems, door handles, etc. before painting. Never had the problem with Testor's, but now that I've switched over to HOK paints, I get ghosting.
  20. Not yet, Chris. I'm trying to balance a remodel of both bathrooms and the kitchen, getting the Christmas decorations together, fixing a hose reel, and both vehicles need to be washed. I did get a clear coat on a purple '37 Chevy this morning. Hopefully next week I'll be able to post some pics.
  21. Very interesting build that I'm going to keep watching.
  22. I like the 2 seater version better. Please put my name in the hat for getting one. If someone would like to trade for the dual cowl version I have, I'm open to hear about them.
  23. Finally recieved the 2 hemi Dodge Dart kits I ordered in September from Hobbylinc.
  24. I read Mr. Obsessive's post. I hope he starts building again and posts here. I learned so much from him.
  25. Never heard of Showtime Resin, George, but did you know we're organizing the Model Car Builders of Florida club? We have about 20 people already. If you're interested, PM me a "real" email address along with the city you live and I'll add you to the list.
