  1. Hey Brian - I'm back from the homeless shelter and on the way stopped at a Walgreen's and a CVS. The only sanding sticks they had were flattened out oval ones - no tapered ones. Thursday when I go to have the pool water tested I'll check at a different Walgreen's & CVS.
  2. Looks like it's sitting in the showroom waiting for a buyer.
  3. I ordered a Paasche H-Set from Chicago Airbrush. Should arrive this week.
  4. I have to drop clothes off at a homeless shelter today and I'll be going past a Walgreen's and CVS. I'll stop and check on those sanding sticks. I've never seen the tapered ones though.

    1967 Goat

Never have figured out why they're called Goats instead of GTOs, but here's my rendering of a 1967 model. Pretty much straight from the box but I switched wheels for something from the parts bin and I couldn't help putting on some polished aluminum exhausts. Engine wired, BMF, flocking
  6. Appreciate that. Hopefully he can get different grits too. I like the shape of them. Just let me know.
  7. I think the color looks pretty good. I like what you did with the forward tilting hood. I have '36 Ford going and might try your idea. Thanks.
  8. You have some amazing work going on that Goat. Now I gotta keep checking back for updates. Looking good.
  9. I'm always amazed with your builds, Jeff and still can't figure out how you do all those amazing details. The Buick looks great!
  10. Brian - where did you get that teardrop shaped sanding stick? Scale Dreams doesn't carry them anymore.
  11. I never heard of them but then I'm not into resin either. The pics on his website sure look impressive though. Hope somebody else will post about the outfit.
  12. One of my "under glass" posts got a couple hundred views one time and I was thrilled to death. 28,000+ is unreal. I'm trying to learn from the work you do but it's above my reach. Maybe Gregg could rename the magazine after you - or at least fill an issue with pics from your build. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I'll bring you back a sea shell. If I ever get to the left coast, I'll buy you dinner - unless you want to meet in Vegas in September and I'll buy then.
  13. Holy cow!!!! That can't be a 1/24 scale build. There's too much detail and it looks fabulous!! Amazing details. Amazing!!!

    Mustangs!

    Terrific builds, Wayne.
  15. I like the detail around the exhaust and the brake light. And the paint. And the roof. How did you do the roof? Tape? Spray adhesive?
  16. I use Hobbylinc and Scale Dreams fairly often.
  17. I'm far from being a great builder, but I really enjoy reading positive comments after I do an "under glass" post. My builds are up in quality like many of you guys, but I try my best and I try to keep learning from better builders.
  18. 1969 Camaro - one of my all time favorite cars, and you made it look fantastic!
  19. Hey Cesar - what's all the yellow stuff on the seat back?
  20. Great builds, Cesar. Love the details. Can't decide which one I like the best, but it's either the '37 Ford panel or the Caprice wagon. They're all extremely nice.
  21. Romell - this has got to be the greatest model ever built. AMAZING build!!!!
  22. How's this for an idea, Troy? Pack it back in the box and send it to me.
  23. Some guys have all the luck. All I got the last few days is a sore back from shoveling 15 yards of mulch into my flower/shrub beds. And I still need another 5 or 6 yards.
  24. Good luck on your move. If you don't want the rain, send it over here. We could use a nice, soft soaking rain.
