  1. Not to shabby. Looks good. How about posting pics of the real one too?
  2. Isn't that a cute little thing.
  3. I stick (get it?) with Tamiya masking tape.
  4. Excellent thinking on the gull wing style rear door. I like how you did the leaf springs too. I'll be watching this build.
  5. And that's your first build? Looks better than my last one and I've been building since 1958. Nice and clean. Be waiting to see more of your build soon.
  6. I think I've already added to you to my hate list, Marcos. I'm just jealous of the great builds you do. Your Pontiac looks great! That Pontiac is a wonderful kit to work with. Looking forward to seeing your next build.
  7. It was terrrific meeting you Don and I appreciate the tour of the American Classic Motor Cars building. I tried to wipe my drool off the paint on a couple of them. I'd be more than happy to provide you with any assistance I can with a model car show. I gave you my card so you have all my contact info. Maybe you could get "Big Daddy" Don Garlits to drop on over. Or how about John Travolta? Both of them live only a few miles away.
  8. So where is the place? I was going out shortly tp Michaels and Hobby Lobby in Ocala.
  9. Yo Don - this place is in Ocala? Can you provide a street address? I need to go look at what they have for sale.
  10. I use a Bager 200 single action. When I investigated airbrushes a few months ago, the Paache H series came up many, many times. I did a pricing check of a Paasche HSET and found Chicago Airbrush at the low end ($55.54), Tower Hobby ($54.99), TCP Global ($58.94), and Dixie Art ($59.95). I believe Chicago Airbrush had free shipping.
  11. This should be interesting. I'll be watching the development of your CadVette.
  12. Looks like you have an interesting build going. I'll have to an eye on it.
  13. Terrific Build, John. Super details. And that's part of the reason you're on my all time hate list - not really hate, more like jealousy because I can't build the way you do. Like them coming. I need the inspiration.
  14. Parts look pretty good. You do the chrome too? Somebody needs to do a tutorial on parts casting for dummies (like me).
  15. I don't think it's nice to take a 1:1 car and put it through a reducing machine to post here as a model. Looks like it's on a showroom floor.
  16. First build - no way! Looks good.
  17. Welcome back, Drew. I think a member posted about tools just a couple of weeks ago so you may want to search the site. There's so much new and different stuff in the last 20 years. Get a copy of MCM.
  18. Man, you do some amazing work gseeds. I'm not a lowrider person, but I love the detail you're able to put in a build.
  19. Just trying to help, Ron. Happy shopping and happy 4th of July.
  20. How are you going to get the mold lines off if the parts are still on the sprue? I cut everything off the sprue(s) and sort by interior, engine, chassis, body, and then decide what color on each part.
  21. That's some top notch work.
  22. Another amazingly detailed build, John. Just fantastic!
  23. Happy Birthday to the greatest country in the world!! God bless our troops. God bless the USA.
  24. Oh yeah. If you go to Michaels and/or Hooby Lobby web sites, you can sign up and get the coupons emailed to you every week.
  25. I heard Chrome Tech is just a go between - they don't do any of the plating themselves. I don't know if it's true or not. I've never had chrome plating doen - yet. As soon as some wheels I ordered from Time Machine Resin come in, they're going to Little Model Kar Co. in Reading, PA for chrome plating.
