Welcome back, Drew. I think a member posted about tools just a couple of weeks ago so you may want to search the site. There's so much new and different stuff in the last 20 years. Get a copy of MCM.
How are you going to get the mold lines off if the parts are still on the sprue? I cut everything off the sprue(s) and sort by interior, engine, chassis, body, and then decide what color on each part.
I heard Chrome Tech is just a go between - they don't do any of the plating themselves. I don't know if it's true or not.
I've never had chrome plating doen - yet. As soon as some wheels I ordered from Time Machine Resin come in, they're going to Little Model Kar Co. in Reading, PA for chrome plating.
Michaels sale through July 10, 2010 has a 50% off coupon on any one regular price item and Hobby Lobby has the same deal with a 40% off coupon. Happy shopping.
Peter - don't forget to put your address in the box so we can send some $$$ back to you. I'm looking forward to this. It's going to be a major challenge for me. Thanks so much for taking so much time and care in this project.

Where's the cars?

I'd like to vote for Diana, but I guess I need to vote for da Boss.
I used coat hangers until last year when I brought a Tamiya stand. I love the thing! It's easy clean up becuase the paint just chips off after it dries.
Thanks for all the advise fellas. I was thinking LHS to get me out of the casino and away from the one arm bandits. But that would take me away from the scantily clad waitresses too! Can't win in Vegas.
