  1. Excellent looking build - even though the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Never thougth I'd like the look of skirts on a truck, but yours looks very good.
  2. Looks real good. Corvair's were neat looking cars. Too bad Nader's Raider's made them disappear.
  3. Fantastic build - but I wouldn't go near that water.
  4. This looks like an interesting build - and I'll keep looking for updates.

What you did with the boneyard pics and story telling was pretty cool.
  6. Glad to have you here James. This is the best place around for a model car/truck person. I think you'll like it.
  7. Clear as a bell to me - right where I said the wires would go.
  8. Your model and the 1:1 look great.
  9. You can get a chuck for your Dremel at Lowe's. Then there's no need for the different sized mandrels. I believe the Dremel part number is 1409. It goes from about 0 to 1/8".
  10. Welcome Michael. You'll find all kinds of builds and a ton of help from fellow members. I know there's a few folks from Down Under and hopefully they'll chime in with shops in your area. If not, there's always the internet.
  11. Where the lower dimples are - drill 2 holes above each one. The headers would be 1-2-1. Right? Like on a 409.
  12. Bummer, Pat. Sounds more like you need a pump more than a shop vac. Your basement have a sump pump? Please send some rain down here to FLA. It seems to rain all over the state except by me. Good luck getting dried out.
  13. We need pics!! What does one guy say here? Something about it didn't happen if there are no pics.
  14. I don't care to put money in Martha Stewart's pocket but would be interested how that flocking works out. I've never used embossing powder either. The only stuff I've used is Ken's Fuzzy Fur.
  15. That's the tune. I can understand lodging a complaint at the local post office, but also the need to inform corporate that you won't tolerate crumpled issues.
  16. I'm not trying to start anything either. It's just that a due date was set. What if a big show was coming up and I wasn't finished. Would they hold up the show for me? I'd like to see all the builds, but is it fair to those that finished on time?
  17. I paid good money for a subscription. I held off for quite sometime because I was concerned about getting the magazine in sad condition. Hopefully they will arrive with no rips or tears. If not, I have the phone number and won't hesitate to make a call for a replacement. If I need to, I'll make a real stink and demand my money back. Like I siad, I paid good money and deserve a magazine in good condition.
  18. The due date was June 1, 2010. People who signed up for the build knew that and should have been ready. I voted for the AMX because I love that car and the model was build in great detail and is gorgeous. And no, I wasn't a contestant.
  19. Yeah, Harry. The per copy price is cheaper and I won't have a 40 mile drive so I'll also save gas. I dod have a major concern that the magazine will show up in mint condition, but I'll wait and see. And besides, I figure paying for a subscription somehow supports this forum and I'm pleased to do that.
  20. Thank you, Al. I'm going to get an order going.
  21. I'm confused with all these tires and the ones shown on your website, Alan. Will your tires fit wheels that come in different kits. Those Pirelli P7 tires look pretty good. The prices I found were to order prints of the pics. Why would I want that?
  22. Looking pretty good. I'm wondering how you're going to make those scoop things on the side.
  23. Nice, smooth painting. Really like the color. Pick whatever wheels you want because there's bound to be somebody that won't like your choice anyway. I personally like the Pegasus Ts. Did you know that they are also available in a 19" version?
  24. Fantastic! What scale is it? No way it's 1/25.
  25. Old school is cool.
