  1. Brad - could explian the stepped sleeves? You get tires and sleeves - what do you use for the actual wheel? Are the sleeves used to make deep dish wheels? Do you use a wheel from a kit with the sleeve?
  2. Holy cow! What a gorgeous job you did. Great details. I guess I'll have to add you to my hate list (actually it's a jealous list). Terrific build.
  3. Very nice build. Where did you get the body? Resin?
  4. I ordered a sample too. I think it's coming from Tampa - only 100 miles. When do you think company will catch on what we're doing with the stuff and sending out samples all over the place?
  5. I bought a bottle of white embossing powder, figuring I could paint it any color I want. I haven't used it yet because I'm afraid I might like it. If I did, what would I do with all my flocking? I bought every color available from Scale Dreams.
  6. I'm not into racing builds, but I love the details in your truck.
  7. It's just screaming "HOT ROD"!
  8. It does look very cool. My deco is still in the box. It's waiting in line for completion of some other kits. I also need to practice scratch-building a frame for it.
  9. I got a Lindberg 1935 Auburn Speedster in a trade with ohiochris. It's gonna be hot rodded!
  10. Holy cow! I thought I was old. In 1962 I graduated grade school.
  11. MCM July 2010 #151 just arrived in the mail in pristine condition.
  12. Matt - how 'bout making a 1964 Dodge Dart. I'd prefer the 2 door post but could live with a hardtop.
  13. I usually paint the area close to the color of flocking and then use Elmers glue to hold the flocking. It sounds like the notecard idea. Thanks guys.
  14. I have an application where I need to have two tone flocking. Much of the interior will be red flocking but I need to make a 1/2" wide gold flocking stripe. Anybody got any ideas?
  15. The whole build is extremely nice but I'm really impressed with the interior. I wouldn't mind knowing your secret to getting the gauges to look so good.
  16. Glad to see you're posting again, Tom. I thought you fell off the planet. I'm still anxious to see how you're going to do those side vents.
  17. That's a very nice build. The paint is so shiny and interior looks terrific.
  18. Good one, Paul. I'd like to see that too! I'll betcha one of the resident experts here would be able to show us. Please?
  19. Super details, Danno. I like how you're able to lift the body to be able to see all the interior details. I sorta remember Rescue 8 and the other shows. So what's the biggie?
  20. Nice looking build , Janne. That thing looks so big, if you put a propeller on the back it could pass for a boat.
  21. Hey Romell - why don't you just reverse your shrink ray and enlarge your plastic build?
  22. I built a spray booth with plywood, furnace filter and a bathroom exhaust fan. Maybe I like living on the edge - I smoke and ride a motorcycle too!
  23. Great weathering job.
  24. Revell has provided me with replacement/missing parts several times. I guess because of its' age, they weren't able to provide decals for the RC Cola Wagon - but a terrific MCM person mailed them to me. Sorry, that was before I started keeping track of trades, so I don't remember who it was.
  25. Excellent. Quite a bit of kit bashing involved. How do you keep track of all the different parts from different kits?
