  1. I made mine from plywood, a 24" tube light, bathroom exhaust fan ducted outside, 12" x 24" furnace filter. I used Pace drawings as a guide. It's sits on a mobile cart and I wired it so there's seperate switches for the fan, light, compressor, and a spare. I imagine if you do a search on the forum that you'd be able to get all kinds of tips and pics.
  2. Thanks for the positive comments, fellas.
  3. I like it - lots! Looks so good sitting up high.
  4. Good looking build. Must have taken quite a while for the BMF.
  5. That sounds like a lot of work, Lee, but the flat black would probably covered better. I guess it's back out to the shop.
  6. Thanks Dusty. The grill is solid and I did put a black wash on it to look like the bars were seperate. Maybe I should have put on another coat to further define them.
  7. Here's some pics of my latest build. HOK candy Brandywine with Tamiya TS65 clear, Novos #2, and then finished with Model Car Wax. The wheels came from the parts bin. Interior is flocked, BMF, polished aluminumn exhaust, wired engine.
  8. I don't buy much from Ebay so wouldn't know the prices. I sent a question about shipping costs to the guy selling his "rare" '66 Chevy that hasn't been made for 40 years. Never heard back.
  9. Looks like you have the talented family. Super builds.
  10. Throw it in the freezer and let it sit there for a few hours. Should then pull apart much easier.
  11. Noble?? Never hard of it. It is a nice looking car though.
  12. I still think fire trucks should be red - but what detail you have - UNREAL!! Fantastic!! What scale is it?
  13. It's different. What did you use for paint?
  14. Look good. I just love that body style.

I like shiny paint but adore the details you did on your Goat.
  16. Rick over at Scale Dreams has a tremendous selection of Pegasus wheels.
  17. That's a great looking truck!
  18. Have you thought about using Evergreen rod & tubing instead of aluminum or brass tubing?
  19. Yo Mr. Zombie - I like the 2nd pic. Green truck cab. Very nice
  20. Hiya Steve. Welcome to the best model car forum around. There's plenty of very talented builders here as you've probably seen. Lots of questions get answered. Opinions offered. No charge and it sounds like we'll be getting some excellent tutorials. Stay tuned. Please tell your son WELCOME HOME and thank you for serving our country.
  21. I'm hooked on the HOK pearls from TCP Global. I now have a stock of 16 colors. Using either the base gold or silver, that gives me the potential of 32 colors. I haven't even thought about mixing colors to get yet other colors.
  22. No lights front or rear. Didn't seem to go very fast so it must not be a race car. I think it's basically a total waste of somebody's time. That engine would have looked nice in my dune buggy though.
