    Jairus who?
  3. Was cleaning out the computer and found this shot of one of my favorites. I should get it out and finish it.
  4. What would be the email address it is from?
  5. I love it!!! Was thinking about trying some of the Model Expo kits, but there is so many of them, would have no idea where to start. Model building is such a great therapy, isn't it? I know dozens, if not hundreds of guys, who either got into building models due to an injury, or returned to it because of same. That's what happened to me, and look where I'm at today! Well, don't look too hard, I'm worse off then ever, but it's my magazine, right? Great job on the kits. Can you fix the image links?
  6. Southern Nats NNL NNL Style Model Car Show & Swap Meet November 12th 2011 • 10:00am - 4:00pm Smyrna Community Center • Smyrna Georgia
  7. Nice pink Cadillac!
  8. One thing I have been doing which saves a ton of money (of course I use eModelCars as much as I can as well), is to use Garage Sale to sell the stuff on eBay. It's a Mac program that works unreal!!!! If I choose the use Garage Sale image servers, I can post an item with a ton of pics, and not get charged for a single one. There is even an iPad version for it now!!! I asked them to get a quote to work on one for eModelCars, but I think that would be about $10,000, at least!!!! ouch....
  9. I have to disagree. I don't use the eBay PayPal shipping unless I have to for some reason. I almost always go to USPS and log in to my account, and ship it from there. Sure it only saves me a couple of quarters some times, but with eBay and PayPal hitting me every time I fart, I try and pinch as many pennies as I can. If you pay online with USPS, you do save money PayPal/eBay probably pockets that online payment discount themselves
  10. Whoever lost that roll of hundred dollar bills with that big huge rubber band around it, please contact me. I found your rubber band... The site is blazing fast now!!! I'm amazed!!!! I guess that second mortgage on the house paid off....
  11. See what happens when people don't listen? Sorry, but the warnings were here all week. I should have just left the forum unavailable for all week. Oh well
  12. Try some of the nail polish colors that are color changing. I'll see if I can get a picture of them
  13. I love when people take on their own projects like this, but what got me was that LOBBS said was that he has over $250 in parts alone I hate to do this, but I am doing a review of the Pace Spray Booths in the next issue of Model Cars, and they start at $225, and the one I am reviewing is $245, with FREE SHIPPING!!! I know it's not a downdraft, but so far, I love it. http://www.pacepaintbooths.com/pace/ Hope I don't make anyone mad with this. I will post the review online as soon as it is pau and approved.
  14. For those of you who want to appreciate John's work and build, without all the play-by-play commentaries, check out: AMC Matador This will be the type of pages that will be used for the continuations and features in full of future articles in MCM. John, I hope you don't mind me doing this as a test. Great build my friend!!!
  15. very good start! You going to make it to my show next March? Haven't set date yet for Ala Moana Hotel, but should be same time frame, March 13 or 14 or so.
  16. Maybe they know you are loved here? hhhmmmm, inquiring minds want to know.... NOT!!!! There's an "other" board?
  17. Here is the web page for the photo review of the new Revell 2010 Mustang GT Coupe: Revell 2010 Mustang GT As stated before, the new format for online links will be modelcarsmag.com, then the slash /, and then R for Revell, and the last four of the kit number, here it's 4272 So, the link would be www.modelcarsmag.com/R4272 I hope to get this up for all the new kits, but it's going to take a while. Thoughts, opinions, and of course, donations are always welcome.
  18. Thanks, Paul. No, I don't have a caster set up yet. I was going to see about doing it as part of our resin column, but that may not give good results, just yet. So, have to see
  19. My first attempt was to scan the bar codes (I know, the old kits don't have them), and then use the UPC's to create the database. But, I couldn't get hold of the UPC database for the bar codes. I tried everywhere, even asked hobby shops if they would let me "borrow" their data. So, I went to plan two: Excel with link to the photo of the kit. That worked well, until the computer location of the picture file changed. Now, I'm trying Bento, which is FileMaker Pro on a diet. I will try to send screen shots of that. FileMaker Pro would be the best, but it's expensive, and I think Bento would be an easier one to get for those on a budget. There is also Google Docs, which is free. I would like to see screen shots of our computer guru's and their FMP (File Maker Pro) or Excel databases/spreadsheets.
  20. NO That/those are illegal copies of my masters. Anyone who bought one has bought an illegal copy.
  21. Can we post the full article on the web site, like we are doing with the photos? I'm learning more of the Drupal programing slowly, and I should get the hang of it soon.
  22. Aahhhhh, my favorite topics!!! Don't forget: Pro Built!!!! I have to laugh at some of the listings there. What gets me is some guy is selling parts out of kits, for like $15!!!! And you can still get the whole kit! I don't get it.... I know, I know, the sucker and sixty second births, I know..... Okay, I pau... I can't wait to see this one. Maybe we can run a full definition in one final post? or print in the mag for April?
  23. We are doing a full feature/review of Jim's wheels in the upcoming issue of Model Cars. Great work, Jim! p.s. I just got the Super Swamper tires for the 4x4 rims, and they fit perfect!!!
