Marc, I started snatching up some of Art's kits as well. Just got the 59 Limo and the Blazer S-10 I think I have a few more laying hidden in storage QuikSkins does some great ones as well, for the racing fans. Correct on the side marker lights. For Germany, I believe it was that when you turned off your car, parked on the street, you had to leave the turn signal in the opposite position that the car was on the street, ie, parked on right side of street, turn signal has to be on the left. With the way they were wired, you turn off car, turn signal to left (parking on right side of street), and power goes through to the light on the left side. That's why with some of the older VW's, you would have that extra black/green or black/red wire to the turn signals. I think they were numbers 55 and 57, but that's my old memory going.

Guys, I think the gun was jumped on this, and I didn't realize it till now The new web site will have an intergrated log in that will use your same id/password as that in the forum Now, with everyone going and registering for the new site, before I knew what was going on, it may cause some of you to get "oh crud." You may have to log in again, but hopefully with your forum log in info. So, I am trying to turn off the registration module for the site, and hopefully the bugs will get worked out this weekend.

Programer is setting it up so your forum log in will be the site log in. Be patient while the buggies are worked out

You know, that is a good idea. I'm so glad I thought of it..... With all seriousness aside, that is a great idea. Once I get better, we can look into doing this. I'll have to convince the gang, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Maybe a look behind the scenes? Hmmm..... I'm so glad I thought of this!!!! p.s. I did do my hometown NNL last March, and will hopefully be doing another one in March 2011 as well.

And of course, the D word: Divorce...... I think once you loose that effect of the illusion of creating a real car, in scale, you have gone too far. I have seen way too many models where the builder was just trying to stuff upon stuff upon stuff, and it looked so tacky. I think the old adage, less is more, works well for models. It's about creating a realistic illusion, to me. I do love to build the super-detailed ones, but those are few are far between. There is a 1/43 Superior Make Up Japan kit that would blow the minds of almost everyone here. That is too much detail, and it's 1/43 scale, too boot. That one may be the ONE that does it for me. I don't think Facebook would be a good hosting site for your photos I would use one of the free ones. I have used Fotki for ten years or so, others love Photobucket. There are too many issues with Facebook, although it's a great avenue to reach new and old friends. Maybe link on FB to your Fotki pages? Have the photos been "published" yet on FB?
