  1. Are you thinking about this one? It is a good looking car.
  2. Very nice!!! I noticed that you used the correct 8-Lug Wheels on this build. I bought a few sets of those wheels from the Modelhaus for my '63 and '64 Bonneville builds.
  3. I can see one of them in Black, with a red interior on my shelf.
  4. After I picked up my kits, I stopped by my favorite Chevy Dealer, and they had both a "Fifty" and a 1LE Camaro in their inventory, which I was able to get a few photos of the cars. I was also able to see a privately owned SS "Fifty" at car wash where I was getting gas. The owner let me photograph his car, and I got some good photos with my phone. The striping is a flat finish, while the car itself is a dark pearlescent gray, with a black and gray interior. The hood on the 1LE car is flat black, while the splitter and rear spoiler is gloss. It is quite a striking car. I am leaning towards either bright red, or silver. I have to get some technical information on the car from other sources to start the build.
  5. Very handsome bird!!!!
  6. Wow!!!!
  7. OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!
  8. I picked this one and the 1LE snapper up today. The kits were as expected, except that the finish on both bodies are subpar in my opinion. They were a semi gloss finish, with swirls and scratches. They will have to be painted for the best results. I was going to paint mine anyway, so that is not a problem. Both will have to be thoroughly blocked, as various mould lines are present, and the panel lines need to be deepened.
  9. Interesting!!!
  10. Thanks for the review. I built the 2016 version of this kit, and was satisfied with it, I see the same mould lines on the body that you show in your review, so I am not surprised that they are still there. The color of the body is no problem to me, as I am going to paint it anyway. I will probably strip the wheels too. I have to do my research on this car. I hope that there is one at a dealership near my club meeting place when I go out tomorrow. I'll probably pick one up.
  11. Plum Crazy was my favorite color for this car when it was new. Very nice build!!!
  12. Very nice!!!!
  13. I like that one too. Hawk would have been jealous.
  14. Very nice!!!!
  15. very nice!!!!!!
  16. The AMT '71 Charger R/T will give you a great Wedge engine with al of the accessories. To make it correct looking for the '59 Imperial engine, a JoHan '62-3 Plymouth will give you the right Air Cleaner.
  17. My Dad had a '68 Country Sedan as the "Utility" car when I was in high school. I drove it occasionally. It was Black, wit the Red interior with the dual facing rear seats.
  18. I am considering making one up of my own.
  19. If you can, attend a model car club meeting near your home and join. You will be hooked.
  20. I am so jealous Rex. The Mach1 is a grail of mine.
  21. I used only the body, glass, chrome, and wheels when I "upgraded a '74 Road Runner using parts from the latest tool '71 Charger. I cut the underhood structure from the '71 Charger, and mated it to the Road Runner after I removed the underhood area from the Road Runner. I also used the basic '71 Charger Interior, modifying it to Road Runner specs using the research materials I had. I retained the seats, console, steering wheel, and installed the rear seat inserts from the Road Runner, as well as reshaping the side panels. I plan to o the same thing to my '74 Charger Restoration project. I have pulled it apart, and it has to go into the stripper. I have to decide which version to do. Base Charger, or Rallye
