  1. John , the 59 rambler was actually done in Resin by the company that was casting the stuff for Jo han in Dallas . I spec somebody might even have one of those Ramblers around too. I like the drawing too , thats a keeper ! Yep ,4 hubcaps .............. Ed Shaver
  2. Before I comment on the truck , thank you both for you're brave service . I was almost drafted myself in 1968. Somehow , I managed barely enough to stay in school and keep a decent grade average . I'm not sure how , but I did. The truck ............... whats all the beef about ????????   16. Bill, did you see Janet Shamiling on N B C News last night ? She was in Dallas , a place known for ice storms , not snow . She apperently looked like she waqs standing at the overpass of the South Freeway, the R L Thornton and the Central Expressway . Meanwhile , snow , yep more snow is expected her in Richmond Virginia tonight . Oh check out the story about Global Warming in both Time Magazine and Yesterdays New York Times newspaper ...........   17. I was sent the flier , I think I'm going to pass as I was not impressed by the way things ran there a couple three years ago. I still havent gotten over that and I mentioned it politely of course to a couple of people when I met them In Winston Salem a year later . If I do attend any shows beyond Richmond Virginia this year , I have to say they will all be in North Carolina . Ed Shaver
  18. Nails , I reallly don't mean to pick at ya but the spark plug wires are supposed to run through two METAL conduits that run paralel to the cylinder heads . They were painted black . Now these conduits were not used on the " Newer " 8-BA or 49 - 53 Engines . You sir have a 59- A B engine and a very well done and otherwise excellent example of one too!!!!!!!!!!!!!   20. Years ago and I mean back in the 60's there was a place at Harrison and Grace here in Richmond Va called the Village . Now the resturant is on the next corner today but thats not THE REAL VILLAGE . Anyway a guy by the name Of Steve Dekos , greek and a fantasic cook by the way used to throw us out on too many occasions and guess what , he looked the same as you're figure ! I swear that figgure you did is a dead on like ness of ole Steve . If I only knew where he an his wife were today. I would e-mail this to them ! The rest of Grace street near Virginia Commonweralth look svery close to these buildings too. Very wel done work sir , very well done . Ed Shaver
